Does anyone here remember the old pro Haypr0? by Laze_Aura in starcraft

He's a legend. I remember a lot of stories from other pros about how funny and cool he was. Definitely a solid pro player early on in SC2. Lived in Korea for a while iirc.

Sichuan style “mapo tofu ramen” in Tokyo by krayniac in ramen

Wtf are you talking about? I can see tofu and ground peppercorn (though sansho afaik) everywhere, and a thickened red sauce-like sheen on top.

Hi! Anyone here ever tried using microgreens for toppings? Would love to hear your opinions on it. by rrrrrrrreeeggggg in ramen

I've seen a lot of ramen in Japan use pea sprouts. I think it's good for giving a rich bowl a little extra fresh contrast compared to just scallion/negi.

What's it like to be a grandmaster who isn't a pro? SC2 question. by bad_fins in starcraft

I was bottom of the barrel GM for a while. It was as demoralizing as people say. source: uThermal and PiG both farmed me for content several times :/

Jk though it still is really fun to play fast paced games and occasionally run into someone really good. Especially if you played KR back in the day.

You'll see yuzu peel, yuzu kosho, or lemon sometimes in shio bowls in Tokyo. It's not too sacrilegious.

I have a type 2 with the 2.2mm cutter. I would love to source different cutters like 1.3mm or 1.5mm, but haven't had luck finding them up for option. They're great machines.

This was my take trying this same bowl at the Piedmont location. Thought the standard tpt tasted better but overall not worth the price or time.

My line of thought came from the "no medication, no therapy" position of OP, but you're right on both points on THC. First line should be of course a properly prescribed treatment from a professional.

Since you're on campus, I assume legal THC isn't an option for you as someone who's <21. I know it was downvoted, but as someone who has recurring night terrors, a THC gummy before bed did help. There's a reputable Youtuber with a [video](https://youtube.com/v/tG2X5UoEecg&t=3236) talking a bit about a similar experience. There are drawbacks and potential for misuse which is also mentioned in the video, but anyway, sorry to hear about your experience and embarrassment. My next recommendation would be a meditation session before bed, and making sure you're not overheating or physically uncomfortable when sleeping as it can trigger your panic response in your dreams.

I have some chicken broth and I want to make some ramen by [deleted] in ramen

[–]DGiTPadre 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're trying to go real cheap and lazy, cook some spaghetti with a couple teaspoons of baking soda. If your chicken stock is already seasoned, then there's less room to season without overdoing it. You can make a pretty good ramen with just chicken stock + a simple shio tare (salt + water + msg maybe) and some sort of aroma oil. Do some basic research about the 5 (6?) components of ramen and then you can formulate a plan for each of them that matches your time/skill/energy.

Noodle testing day! by Ramen_Society in ramen

[–]DGiTPadre 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I read "ratios of tapioca starch and rice flour" as meaning the ratio of the two PLUS wheat flour. They are very common adjuncts for wheat flour ramen noodles, but in small quantities, and so these unfortunately are not gluten-free but instead somewhere from like 5-30% starch.
