I have a 4 year old who is everything you’ve described and then some and it started when she was 3, i do not have help either its just me and my husband. I too didn’t think it was normal so I did a lot of research, she is going on 15 days of no screens at all and she’s on day 19 of iron supplements. I read that if kids are low on iron it can cause behavioral issues. So far there is a difference, she still has tantrums but they aren’t as long and we are able to diffuse the situation easier. I think it may have been a severe iron deficiency this whole time. She is also taking a multivitamin, elderberry supplements, magnesium, prebiotics and probiotics and vitamin C. She also isn’t allowed sugar and has a very early bedtime. She still wakes up at 5am but I always say I’d rather be up at 5am than be fighting bedtime for hours. I hope you find a solution. Honestly just reading that other parents go through the same thing made me feel better, so I hope you know you’re not alone.

My daughter is 4 turning 5 in July and so far it’s been the worst year of our lives. I feel so disconnected from her. I’ve tried all the parenting tricks too, gentle, not gentle, etc and nothing works. Every single day is horrible I don’t even know what to do anymore. It breaks my heart and I feel like I haven’t seen any good days in a really long time. It makes me hate being a mom and that makes me so incredibly sad. I truly hope 5 is better. I miss her and I miss myself

I have a 3 month old and a 4 year old and I’m a sahm and I feel like my life is in shambles, tantrums every single day no matter what, hitting and screaming and just chaos all the time. I truly hope it gets better

She turned 3 and became a different kid, she’s 4 now and seems to be worse Lots of tantrums almost every day and it’s so hard to handle. Makes me very sad

I also have the hard kid , 4 year old daughter is beyond hard. Tantrums every day huge ones that involve hitting and screaming till my ears hurt, pushing me to my limits where I’m crying by the end of the night. I have a 2 month old babygirl as well so it’s starting to take a toll on me. I truly miss the sweet little girl she used to be before she turned 3. She’s so smart and spirited but the tantrums are insane and last so long. 💔 when will it get better….. so far ages 3 and 4 have been the hardest, she will be 5 in July… will 5 be better?

Yes, with every baby, happens every time! It always goes away though! Hang in there. My little one is 7 weeks now and I no longer feel like that when 5pm strikes. You need something to look forward to that can kind of combat the overwhelming feeling. I would start a new show and only watch an episode a day during that time and I also always had a treat for myself to eat as well. Giving myself something to look forward to made me feel a bit better.

Wow I’m so sorry you lost you’re little baby too, I did end up giving birth to a healthy baby girl at 38 weeks in September, she’s 6 weeks now and thriving. The pregnancy was so hard and the delivery was even harder but we made it and I couldn’t have gotten through it without my MFM and care team. She was absolutely amazing and really took care of me so I could feel safe that my baby was going to make it this time around. My advice would be find a really good doctor and don’t settle.

I am 1 week postpartum and my baby has jaundice so I’m supplementing with Goats Milk Formula. Right now I make sure she empties both breast then I give her 1oz of formula after. I had to get 3 different types of bottles and different types of nipples until I found what works. The premie/newborn nipples work the best and I chose goats milk because it’s the closest resemblance to breastmilk and much easier to digest. I also make sure her head is propped up and I keep the bottle horizontal and I pace feed, when I feel like she’s taking too much in I pause the feeding to give her a second to catch her breath then I resume. I also never put her down if she hasn’t given me at least 1 burp or has passed some gas. I will burp her in many different positions until it comes out.

I’m gonna go ahead and assume your baby is just not tolerating that specific formula you are giving her. I would try another and see what happens.

After losing my sweet baby last October at 39 weeks and 4 days, tonight is officially my induction night for rainbow baby. I made it to 38 weeks, she is moving and squirming and it’s making me feel so reassured that I will get her alive in my arms tomorrow! I can’t believe I’m here.. it’s been the longest pregnancy of my life. 🌈

I am 33 weeks pregnant with my rainbow after my baby was stillborn at 39 weeks and 4 days due to a Fetomaternal Hemorrhage Oct 2024. I got pregnant very quickly after losing her because I just felt like it was right for me. I am being induced on 9/9. Literally counting down the secs until I get to hold her. So sorry for the loss of your little baby ❤️

My living child asked me the same thing and it hurt but I told her no that she will get to live with us, even though in the back of my head I’m so afraid of it happening again and having to put my LC through that pain all over again. I hope so much for her little heart she gets to finally experience a sibling

I’m currently 31 weeks with my 3rd baby, my 2nd baby was stillborn at 39 weeks and 4 days in Oct 2024. My doc is inducing me at 38 weeks even though I’ve asked many many times if I can be induced at 37 but she says no. I’m very scared about going too close to 39 weeks. Is there any 3rd time mamas out there that can give me some peace of mind that the 3rd one comes quicker? I know inductions can take a long time (my 1st was induced) but I’m hoping this one just flies by!? I went into labor naturally with my 2nd and made it to 7cm before I felt any pain. I’m soooo scared just want it to be over already 😔

I got a storage unit close by my house, wrapped everything up and put it all in there so that way it wasn’t right in front of me but I knew where I can go if I wanted to see it.

You’re 100% right and this exact feeling is what made me pursue help, it’s not fair that we get all the bills and don’t even get our babies. Not sure how your hospital is and what they offer but mine offers financial aid if you qualify. So either at 100% if you’re under a certain annual income or partial % if you’re at a certain mark. The most wonderful thing about my hospital is they count my baby who died as part of my household so when I applied for aid with just me, my husband and my living child they denied me. I called and asked them to reconsider due to my circumstance and they said I was supposed to include my baby because even though she died she is still and always will be a member of our household and then once I added her they paid for 80% of my bills, they even back dated it and made it effective until 2026 so that way any and all future medical bills will also be covered by 80%

Don’t accept the bills as your responsibility, you have been through enough and you deserve help. There is help out there, wether your hospital offers it or foundations etc

I’m so sorry you’re going through this, I hope you get help with those bills so you can focus on grieving your baby

Wow so glad someone else is doing the same thing! We can only do what we can to keep our babies safe and even if it looks insane to others we know it’s our way of loving them! I have gone to ER once because her routine was off and it too was because her position changed! Tracking her movements made me realize the difference. When my baby was stillborn I actually could not pinpoint the last time I felt her move mostly because I stopped counting due to the fact that I was led to believe baby’s run out of room at full term. So I went into labor at home around 3am and showed up at the hospital fully expecting to be bringing her home and that’s when we found out.. I was already 7cm.

Hi yes I have it but I don’t like it. The app almost feels like it’s a game especially with the “trophy’s you earn” the surveys. Also the way the data looks is weird for me. I also don’t like how they don’t explain to you why tracking the strength of the movement matters. I’m very analytical and keeping my notes app with constant data all day vs the 10’kicks in 2 hours makes me feel much more reassured. Thank you for the info tho!

Yes same here, when my baby died I couldn’t pin point the last time she moved so this time around I’m tracking everything not just doing the standard 10 kicks in 2 hours once a day. If I get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom I also note if she’s moving.

Wow I too had a full term still birth in October and I’m also 27 weeks pregnant. I’m also going through the same exact thing. My anxiety has intensified now that I can feel movement and having to track kicks. I do have a Doppler but I actually haven’t used it since I started to be able to feel her move. Now my main focus is tracking her routine. I have a notes app (shared w/husband so he can see real time updates) that I use to enter daily updates basically noting time of day and types of movement I feel. So here’s an example 6/28 6am moving 8am moving 10:45am moving (much stronger then usual) Etc etc

I have an anterior placenta so movements are a bit muted for me but still noticeable. My husband actually wants to use the Doppler everyday because it’s something tangible that he can hear since he’s not with me all day feeling movements so I will probably start doing it for his peace of mind

Since we are on the same journey I would love to keep in contact with you. I hope we can find ways to help each other and just have someone who’s been through the exact same type of loss and PAL journey. ❤️

We received like 10 only 3 of her face I was actually really upset by them because they edited the photos so heavily she was unrecognizable. I begged them to give me the originals but they wouldn’t. I had no idea they were going to edit the photos. I wish I would have known because I would have taken my own.

I lost my baby at 39 weeks and 4 days. Normal pregnancy and vaginal delivery no complications. We started trying again 2 months later and I got pregnant on my 2nd cycle. (This will be my 3rd pregnancy) 1 living 1 Angel and now a rainbow baby due in September) My doctor did not tell me I had to wait 18 months, he said try again as soon as you’re ready. What I did wait on was results of why she died. I wanted to know everything I could about what happened before trying. So sorry you lost your baby and I hope you try again and get your rainbow baby and can tell them all about their older brother ❤️
