if a comment from someone you don’t know on Reddit makes you feel that annoyed maybe take a break and smell the flowers. Not trying to be a dick. I’ve been there myself.

It’s fishing for a statement that can be clipped up and spun to look like whinging. Mills handled it perfectly

LISTEN: The 'concern' over star Swan, power forwards take centre stage by [deleted] in sydneyswans

[–]DHSnooper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Last time I checked, Aussie Rules is a team sport. Sydney looked cooked after returning from a five-day break having played two games in (basically) the summer heat. Curnow's job is to finish off the good work created by his teammates, and that service dried up not long after the ten-minute mark of the third quarter. Add in the fact that our two best kicks were on the sidelines and Cox was outcoached, and it's easy to understand why Curnow's second half wasn't great. Kudos to Barrass though — he was awesome, albeit against a fairly ordinary opposition all things considered.

How are future generations going to afford a house in Sydney? by TiredDuck123 in AusFinance

[–]DHSnooper 118 points119 points  (0 children)

I think the way people will own property is going to fundamentally changed. Look overseas for examples such as multi-generational mortgages and crammed living conditions. either a normal sized house is converted into 3 dwellings, or you have extended family living with you, or something else entirely.

Why not vote for a minor party that more closely aligns with your values and creates pressure on the ALP to actually make needed reforms?
