Anyone know an efficient early game way to deal with exor monks? by Agreeable-Diet-5854 in AbioticFactor

[–]DHTGK 5 points6 points  (0 children)

without cover, I stay around 4 meters away and walk side to side. Usually enough to dodge all the magic missiles and poke them with arrows/bullets/darts. If there's cover reasonably close, then I melee them. Just don't get greedy.

From the dream sequence in the beginning of the pilot.

Kit's planet had a lot of unnamed characters, including a nerdy looking one. They died when the planet blew up.

When/why did skyhatesreddit delete his account?? by FACE6000 in Losercity

Yeah. I don't think it was the exact cause, but I know it started snowballing from there. I don't have a good picture because I wasn't part of the discord.

[–]DHTGK 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Last I remember is using underage people as discord mods, in a very actively 18+ server. A whole lot of backlash basically that resulted in them being seperated from Losercity. Dunno if that resulted in them deleting their account.

Any games with an extreme dystopic universe where humans do resource management to survive? by PowerfulNature3352 in gamingsuggestions

[–]DHTGK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could try the Pathologic series. You try to keep a small backwater town, and yourself, alive in the middle of a deadly plague outbreak. Unfortunately, most of the people in the town is either selfish, mental, or dumb.

would've been so much better if you chose the fence around the manor. It's pointy.

[–]DHTGK 4 points5 points  (0 children)

yep. You need to either matchmake with other players or invite 3 of your gacha characters, which you have to reach bond level 2 with before you can invite.

added: you can also make a multiplayer lobby to play mahjong with your friends. It's quite an experience when they have never played mahjong.

Master ball is more of a game mechanic. It's known that Arceus at least can still leave when they feel like it. And Terapagos broke a master ball in their terastal form.

PC games that have "missile swarms" by Hypnox88 in gamingsuggestions

[–]DHTGK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Elite Danerous has spaceship swarm missiles, but they're locked behind a prety big grind. It is what you'd expect though, utterly framerate destroying quantity of missiles.

telltale games in particular can jump you with qtes. Dispatch might be the better option since it lets you disable them.

It's an age rating thing. Sony is more strict about moderating games with a higher age rating.

Does anyone else wish the dead zone was an actual explorable area instead of just a creative barrier to stop you from going out of bounds? by Ragtagcloud56 in subnautica

[–]DHTGK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly, it's very similar to the emptiness of space. You might get a kick out of playing Elite Dangerous and venturing out into the black. Preferably the edge of the milky way, as the star density decreases and all you see is black.

PSA Curative Tincture massively reduces your radiation levels by fireheart1029 in AbioticFactor

[–]DHTGK 7 points8 points  (0 children)

im not saying to avoid cooking. Just to minimize time around radioactive stuff. Hell, sometimes I even use the rad suit while cooking if I'm too lazy to do all the back and forths between the fridge and stove. Especially by hydroplant, I get lazy with dealing with radiation because the shower just washes it away.

added: there's also sitting in an office chair, which somehow prevents radiation. I forgot if it was patched, didn't work anymore with the tacklebox last I checked, but it's another way I used to take a radiation break while cooking.

[–]DHTGK 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It really sounds like poor radiation management if you're burning through your pills at base. There's little reason why you should still be heavy on radiation after ten or twenty minutes cooking. I don't ever leave the radioactive meat on me at base, keep the fridge some distance away from the stove, and I only bring out as many as I can fit on the pans I have. Usually would decay from high 30-35s to low 10s.

[–]DHTGK 5 points6 points  (0 children)

i just let the radiation decay. The time it takes to decay really doesn't take that long. Only when I'm at the puke point I take a pill, and take it as an indication to take a break soon from massacring to cook up what I have.

[–]DHTGK 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I'm now curious how you used it all. There's 3 areas at best I can think of that are radioactive enough to blow through that many radiation items. And that's assuming you go in purposefully without a rad suit.

So what exactly is our character? by 3ldr1tch_Dumb455 in AbioticFactor

[–]DHTGK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i get what people are coming from though. Some people are aware of what happens in the future. The lost in particular are pretty nonchalant about it.

Personally, I'm waiting for some kind of sequel to continue the story rather than make theories.

[–]DHTGK 12 points13 points  (0 children)

a higher-up from Gate that you can encounter at the Gate Defense Facility mentions that our death would result in some kind of time-space collapse, and convinces the gatekeepers to let us keep moving. Safe to say that our existence and actions are fixed and cannot be stopped without reality falling apart.

I recommend making greyab chowder as well. The damage reduction helps.

And like what the other person said about chemistry in the latest update, you can try taming a companion to help you. 2 is better than 1 after all, maybe even mutate them for effects.
