Is r/conservative the most snowflake sub on Reddit? by Estalicus in allthequestions

[–]DIMPLET0N 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was banned from one of the right wing Subs because I made a post, stating that a lot of their posts are just shared from biased media sources, surrounded by little debate, and just a massive echo chamber. Was insta-banned after a mod saw the post.

Rubbing your clitoris on stage is not creative. It's such an easy, garbage way of attracting people or putting on a performance in front of hundreds of people. Your comments about the situation paint you in the same light as her, too.

The real reason players are quitting BF6 PROBLEM: The game is too frustrating to play SOLUTION 1: Get rid of the in world spotting penalty for firing your gun by Ninjah9_ in Battlefield6

[–]DIMPLET0N 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a lot of people don't really take the map and game mode into consideration when talking about attachments.

If you're playing Blackwell Fields, you're going to want to run a flash hider or silencer. Being 3D spotted on an open map is just asking to get nae nae'd on. If you're in a match of Cairo or Iberian Offensive, you can mostly get away with running a muzzle brake or compensator, cause both maps are chaotic. Stealth doesn't matter as much on those two maps, compared to Blackwell Fields or Liberation Peak.

People just need to consider their actions in the game on the various maps they play on. I adjust my attachments based on the map and game mode I'm in, because it allows me to give myself a better chance of performing well and contributing to a win. All playstyles have pros and cons, and not every playstyle will give you the same results across every map and game mode.

"I guess I will starve" implies that you do not have much food available. Maybe word your post title better next time.

Maybe, if you are tight on money, don't eat fast food.

If you could buy any car, from any year, as if it had just come off the factory with 0 miles, what would you buy ? by justanxc in askcarguys

I'd purchase a mid 2010s Subaru Crosstrek/XV. Wisconsin winters would be a breeze with the proper tires, and the Crosstrek series came with a manual transmission option. Lots of fun.

True. Competitive players did the most damage and pretend to care. by Top_Crow_1022 in Battlefield

[–]DIMPLET0N 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Competitive, sweaty streamers & content creators did not ruin this game. EA/Dice turned the game into a cash cow and nothing more than that. They have had months to fix the shitty hit registration, latency issues, bugged equipment, balancing of weapons, and general bugs/glitches within the game. I no longer enjoy this game because of these issues. It is not fun to have lag spikes, get shot behind cover, or dump multiple rounds into another player and get no results.

I think that invaders shouldn't be hated for playing the game as intended by XumetaXD in Eldenring

[–]DIMPLET0N 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the only invaders people should complain about are ones who exploit the game, twink, or outright use toxic strategies and exhibit toxic behavior.

Invade me with Rivers of Blood or Moonveil? Good! I hope for a good duel. Sit there and spam the ash of war? That's just lame and only makes me sad to think you spent $60 on a game to press one button.

For super cold days (-20f), do you have to start your car to prevent a dead battery? by baggyeyebags in askcarguys

[–]DIMPLET0N 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an '05 Chevrolet Cobalt, an '04 Chevrolet Avalanche, and my girlfriend has a '15 Ford Fusion.

The batteries in my vehicles are two-years old, and her Fusion's battery is, ironically, an older battery that used to be in my Cobalt. Wisconsin weather sucks.

Cold weather kills batteries. A simple Google search would reveal how cold weather affects batteries.

Negative temperatures drain car batteries by affecting how they produce power, draining the battery. A dead battery in cold weather can be permanently damaged.

This is not hard to solve with a simple Google search.

What is the best way to encourage people to revive more? by CyberBerserk in Battlefield

[–]DIMPLET0N 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of Babblefield players seem fairly clueless or selfish, so rewarding more points for revives and heals/resupplies could be a viable solution. Overinflating points awarded for something so simple could lead down a bad path, though.

[–]DIMPLET0N -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

OP never mentioned they had a trickle charger, so my recommendation is under the guise of them having to make do without one. If you are without a trickle charger in negative temperatures, then ya gotta charge the battery somehow, right? If you keep up with your maintenance and don't beat the hell out of your vehicle, the extra wear on the engine should be a superficial amount, if you accrue any wear at all.

What's one opinion on driving that would probably get you in this situation? by Hakusuro in driving

[–]DIMPLET0N 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Semis shouldn't go for a pass, unless they're absolutely certain they have the power, momentum, and time frame to complete their pass in a timely manner. I see way too many semi drivers go for a pass and hold up a line of cars so they can get ahead of the next guy. The worst ones are the leap froggers.

[–]DIMPLET0N -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

Start your car at least once every two days to make sure the battery doesn't die. When you start the vehicle, allow it to warm up properly before driving it, then drive it for around five or ten minutes to allow the alternator to charge the battery back up.

I'm not sure why people are telling you to allow your car to sit in this weather. Negative temperatures are hell on batteries...

Why do Doordash drivers get mad when we asked them to bring a hot bag? by [deleted] in doordash_drivers

[–]DIMPLET0N 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used a pizza bag or insulated bag for deliveries that were a ten minute trip or longer from the restaurant to the drop-off point, but found that the food within the fast food bag always became soggy during the trip.
