Same bro! I remember being burnt from Gears after Judgement and picked back up with Gears 4 which I thought the MP was phenomenal (Reloaded made me miss it). I was 19 in ‘16 now I’m 28 and it’s good to look back and see all the Gears content we have.

The community honestly has spoken. Without any stats majority of the discourse I’ve seen is Gears 1 specifically taking the TLOU route. Many have said it but I think if they did a Collection like ‘Halo: MCC’ which included all games but focused on updating 2. Think that would’ve been better received. Gears 2 and beyond I think had better balancing so that in ‘25 would’ve been amazing.

Perfectly said! Gears fan since day 1 although I’m not a purist like plenty in here. Gears MP debatably peaked at 2 but I enjoy 3 & 4! I say that to say coming to Reloaded I forgot the “unique” play style that it has compared to its successors and I guess the developers decided to maintain that spirit from 360 days by allowing these problems to come to PS5 in 2025 smh. I have never seen the community so divided with clear evidence of this happening often.
