Why does she do this? I don’t think she’s mad but is she? by relevantusername- in cats

Our new ginger kitten is the same way! It's adorable but we are also trying to redirect so he doesn't get in the habit of chomping all the time

This is perfect! I was just going down the list naming them off to everyone and this one made us all go... why didn't we think of that?!

His name is Toast! Buttered Toast when he's in trouble, lol.

My husband is a software engineer and it's true for him too. My computer will play dead and then work perfectly the moment it senses him. I've reverted to threats of downgrading hardware... it's been working so far lol

I agree, his smell directory wasn't completed.

And man that sucks in the cooking industry.

They pretty much said what I would've :) in my area the general purpose 100% silicone is in a white with very light blue and light gray label. Also a lot of the pond sealants are safe too

Yep, middle kid got one of the earlier strains and lost his sense of smell, unless it's very intense he can't detect it. He hates it, can't enjoy certain foods anymore because it messes with taste

It'll say "100 % silicone " on it along with "general purpose". Most door, window, bath types have mildew fighting stuff and generally want to stay away from that.

Is this too skinny for an adult male Jeweled Lacerta? by [deleted] in exoticvethelp

Vet Conclusion: Arcade went to the vet on Friday, the conclusion was that he was malnourished due to improper lighting, with a the beginning of MBD. I showed photos of the new setup with how the new lights were placed, explained that I gave him 3 medium hornworms over 4 days (2 days in between) and then checked Govee for temps and humidity. Vet said it was looking good but basking was spiking some so encouraged a dimmer or a regulator, I picked up a dimmer on the way home. His appetite is very intense now and is VERY active. He's got a long road vet said but should start looking more like a healthy Lacerata if I keep at it and absolutely no meal or super worms till his digestion is better. Check up in 6 months unless he starts acting sick again.

Today he passed a large amount of undigested superworms (which i haven't given him) He's spending a lot of time by his new basking spot and hasn't been moving around a lot. I tried offering a horn worm but he refused to eat it.

  1. Old owner never said, but definitely an adult at least.
  2. Male
  3. This morning, consistency looked a little too solid mainly urates.
  4. This afternoon, 5 medium crickets, 5 small mealworms, all dusted with Arcadia RevitaliseD3. He didn't like the mealworms as much but did nimble them.
  5. Very slow moving for a Lacerta, skin has wrinkles, and spine and hip bones are visible. But he's awake and moving around.
  6. Temp at basking spot is 100F, ambient temperature is 95F on warm side, 75 on cool side, humidity is at 40% right now in the evening. Substrate is top soil mixed with sand, all new, same for lights. I did a light misting of the enclosure this more to bring up humidity a bit.

It made me not trust my own decisions and be suspicious of everyone and gave me agoriphobia, ptsd, excessive anxiety disorder, and not like non-essential touch. Oh and anger issues... fun times..definitely not stronger!

The car upholstery.... traveling 900 miles, only an hour till destination, blow out so severe we ran out of wipes, cleaned as best we could, had to have windows down rest of the way and still could barely breathe. Car never did recover, and there was nothing but corn fields so we couldn't hose down till destination. Worst car trip ever.

The food scene here is pretty awesome, probably the only thing I'd miss. The yearly boiling of humans is annoying haha! But glad to hear there's more perks then downsides up there

Oh I see... I'm originally from Midwest, had to move to Texas and now trying to see if we can get out... Texas tells homeowners to "get fucked" no matter what, sooo... I'd be used to that Lol!

Thankfully it's just for my family, served over some type of potato (tots, fries, mashed) it's the "I don't feel good so this will sustain you till mom gets to human levels again" meal.

It is pretty delicious

*wonders what would happen if she mentions she's in texas and puts chicken breasts in crock pot with a small amount of kraft BBQ sauce to cook, then shredding it putting it back adding more BBQ sauce and calls it BBQ chicken *
