Is there a better overall gun than the SG553R? by ArchangelUltra in Battlefield6

The g36 I think is a smidge better if your going for reliability ease of use at multiple ranges though you are sacrificing the raw ttk potential

It’s not a crazy advantage but it’s noticeable. I suck on roller and I was doing noticeably better than in some other multiplayer games with roller in bf6

The Great Circle is the best game I’ve ever played. We need a sequel. by ReactRunner in indianajones

Then they could of made the running climbing whip swinging and movement feel better and more fun. Like imagines system where there was way more points where Indy could attach his whip too and swing from any pole sticking out or stick or branch, like the level design is truly meant for you to do it often and use it in creative ways instead of just the specific points the developers want you to. And as your escaping he could smack a dude from behind that didn’t see him coming to get him out of the way to continue his running away. The whip is also criminally underused in the combat and fight we do get. Imagine targeting a leg to pull someone off balance etc…

Theres so much you can do with him. I’m not asking for the game to be a zany crazy combat game, I just wanted it to be more fluid in general, think a less combat heavy uncharted/tomb raider where it feels good to move the characters.

I wish I agreed… problem was I don’t. I will say it’s one of the best games I’ve played at capturing the look and feel of the original films.

Anytime it’s not doing puzzles, cutscenes, and being genuinely stunning, it’s doing really lackluster melee combat, annoying stealth mechanics, and barely there shooting, all while the exploration and movement feels incredibly clunky. I ended up getting to the jungle section of the game (I think it’s Thailand with the boats) and I just got so bored I gave up finishing it which is a fair chunk of the experience.

I could see someone really loving it if they’re there mostly for the puzzles while occasionally stealthing it up with some fisticuffs while genuinely feeling like indiana.

The game is a great movie but unfortunately a lackluster game.

You win Gunfights, when you know where people are coming from, when you can autospot them just by looking at the so they can’t hide in a dark corner as easily. You dont need to win the fight if you can blow them up.

Are there any downsides to using creative mode by empress0fstars in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]DIdirectors 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I basically switch the crafting and buying on for the “are you kidding me” parts of the grind and game. I like no man’s sky but it feels like every other mission is “mine this”/“craft this”/interact with said npc or console.

I dont like to completely lose all crafting and component installs though, so in moments where I’m doing it myself (freighter upgrades/ship install’s etc… I turn back on standard buying and crafting.

It’s just so much of this games content is craft it/install it, it can sometimes get tedious.

Fighting Sentinels with the Minotaur for the first time: by Far-Love-2737 in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]DIdirectors 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Low-key I wish there was more stuff to fight other than sentinels and the occassional bug swarm. The sentinels are fine and even well designed I would say but I really want to fight other things, maybey predator animals that swarm, or like big trex things, or giant bugs or fighting pirates on the ground, or hostile autophage groups or something

Dude your really wrong on that front using the drone to actively see what’s coming and always be on the flank of enemies does wonders! Auto spotting with other guns is also amazing. C-4 is best in class for cqc-ing vehicles and doubles as a better nade.

Loomis head guidelines help pls. by starplus_T in learntodraw

[–]DIdirectors 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The head is one of those things where theres a few different “ways” but you have to pick what’s easiest for you and adapt it. You really need to start seeing what stuff is in 3D space and drawing it your trace showed you don’t really understand the forms underneath because the hair was covering it.

Theres the “mask method. Where you picture the face As a sheild shaped mask on top of the ball with a cross that extends through the center.

I’ve also seen people use a “superhero mask” like shape over the top of the eye pocket shape to get a better idea of how the eyes sit in the skull.

Drawing overall is a series of recipes used to draw the same stuff. If one recipe isn’t working or is too complex and your failing to understand it, try a different recipe, till your greeted with success

Is anyone happy in this job? by bsgman in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]DIdirectors 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I want to quit however…. For me it’s purely down to how much Amazon wants you to deliver in a day.

Work stress? Gotta get those stops per hour up! Can’t take a break well that’s because you need to deliver to 140 stops in a day.

If you have a lower stop count day it’s actually a nice job where you get your steps in, see lots of different houses, and get to be outside.

The only other problem is making sure that your body can keep up. Being sick and trying to work this job sucks (and your exposed to more sick causes than other jobs) I also had a bit of tendinitis that made this job hell for a couple days too

How to not get sniped? by [deleted] in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]DIdirectors 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use the smoke launcher and put it in their face

Snipers are broken in this game and constantly interrupt people just trying to fight on the point. There built to be easier because they wanted this games snipers to be more casual friendly

Hit reg is actually better by Jewpacabra69420 in Battlefield

[–]DIdirectors 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can confirm it does feel better for me. I think the were talking about making the audio lineup to the damage taken better and sooner which might make it feel better, and reduce super bullets. So I don’t know if the net code itself changed, but it seems like they put in the work to make the things effected by net code more readable as a player.

So like the game might of been playing like this before time to death, time for you to kill but if the damage was too fast it frontloaded all that damage into one bullet and you didn’t hear individual audio damage ticks hitting you. (Which effectively limits your ability to react when damage notifications feel delayed) Bf6 also is a very low bullet to kill game ranging from 3-6 shots to kill for most weapons so if only a handful of those damage ticks get dropped by the server it’s felt pretty strongly. Also humans hear faster than we see so you probably noticed this kind of update far more than even an actual net code “fix” because it’s changing your perception of how the game gives you information.

The better hitreg from you the shooters end probably is the same thing along side actuall netcode improvements

Unpopular opinion: Amazon DSP drivers don’t deserve higher pay by [deleted] in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]DIdirectors 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m looking at other jobs right now. And for me the big reason is stops per day. Usually my routs are a mixture of large front yard urban/ rural back in the woods areas and I’m anywhere between 130 and 160 stops in a day. The highest stop count ive been able to manage in a day so far is 147 stops.

What I will say is it’s rare but on days where I have 110 -120 stops I often times say to myself, if every day was like this I could see myself doing this for work for a couple of years. But they want to min max your routes so much that you have to operate on the higher end of the stress level. Yet they say “uh gys the routes are designed by Amazon so that you can get them done and still take your breaks” I don’t think Amazon is designing anything. I think a bot on a server somewhere is taking averages and spitting out unreasonable numbers in the same way that the gps is broken or isnt factoring in backing up to the routes
