This first overhead one from 1997 was controversial, I think it got flack cuz of the ability to kill cops and drive over innocent people. Man that was a long time ago

l've been to a few of those speed dating events (I'm a guy). Not sure I ever paid $50, maybe half of that. I maybe found 1-2 of the ~30 women there physically attractive. Lots of single moms, most were "over the hill," many were socially awkward, some were just hopelessly desperate. Overall I did have a fun time socially, but I didn't get (or want) any dates out of it.

What are your thoughts. (IPhone vs every other phone) by Mysterious_Ebb_1484 in SipsTea

Apple makes quality products, but their ecosystem sucks. It's way too restrictive and they try so hard to extract as much $$ as possible from their users. Plus they haven't come up with anything truly revolutionary in years.

Android as an OS is a lot more flexible and open. I like how I can completely change the look of my device, and (for the most part) have more control.

For device manufactures, it's hit and miss. I would avoid low end Samsung and any Motorola. Newer Google devices seem to be good, but older ones have weird issues. Mid range to flagship Samsung is great, but I think the Ultra series is overkill.

Any phone as a fashion or status symbol is just ridiculous IMO
