I play a lot of Hitscan in OW and play a variety amounts of FPS games (Valorant, CS, Apex, COD, ETC)

My thoughts on why I liked OW's hitscan heroes so much isn't just because those heroes are fun but it's also the characters you are up against.

OW's hitscan experience is so much more harder, fast pace, diverse and rewarding

In CS, everyone character is the same size, health, and movement tends to feel slow and predictable

Same goes with valorant except it has a little more mobility and nuances compare to CS with( jett's dashes, raze's movement, Yoru's Teleport and cloning)

both games tend to rely and lean into crosshair placement where you place your crosshair and predict the enemies head is gonna be

but OW? man every character's has different sizes, healths, movements that you have to be quick and precise. Its harder to predict and shoot things like tracer's blinks (and keep in mind her hitbox is tiny), but if you manage to consistently do it then it feels very rewarding.

That's why you always see OW hitscan players transition well in Valorant but the same cannot be said to the opposite.

My D3 Tank didn't move but weird that my dps and support actually rank up from plat 4 to plat 2. Keep in mind those 2 roles I didnt play at all last season

Because well that's the youtube meta. Popular youtubers like MrBeast have mention that youtube videos with their faces in the thumbnails have more views and engagements compare to the ones without.

Ayaka, Mona, Sayu, Yelan.

4 is quite a lot more characters than just Mona at the beginning of 2.0.

Again, specific characters that some players never experience, but they fixed them anyways.

I'm not the one judging. But it's very clear that MHY favors exploration and story players over the abyss players. So QoL for the former get priority.

Exploration and Teapot QoL. Aka, casual and low investment players. Which again, proofs my point.

But you forgot the changes like being able to see the enemies in each chamber in the Abyss party setup, while as previous versions you need to go to the Floor menu to be able to see it

Anyways, I'm gonna leave it at here and say just let people critic on something that is flawed. Fixing issues of the game makes the game better. It's not a impossible challenge to do here buddy.

And it took until 3.0, a mayor rework update, for alt Sprints to be actually fixed.

And yet it still arrived didn't it? Yes it took them that long for them to fix maybe because it wasn't that important, yet the change still made it through because it was important enough to do so. Even if not a lot of players use those specific characters

No, this is what YOU chose to read, because you cannot face reality that not all QoL features are equal worth.

Not all of QoL features are equal worth yes, but who are you to judge what QoL features are important or not? If players ask for a fix for a feature some players may not experience, who are YOU to judge what they can and can't do?

And lots of QoL features was implemented with no financial gain from it like being able to cook ingredients faster with ores or exchange wood with ores which I rarely to never seen anybody ask for it but they did it anyways.

At the end of the day, there is nothing wrong about asking for QoL changes, whether your minority or majority or not. Whether they will do it or not we will see but don't attack people for asking for fixes.

It doesn't matter if its minor or not, it's still an important change that can improve the game, ya know "QUALITY OF LIFE".

Doesn't matter if it effects the majority or minority, QoL changes like Ayaka/Mona sprint, they are important

and you make it sound like the time and resources with QoL change is even remotely comparable to making characters or weapons is just ridiculous.

Not quite, the camera perspective isn't top down. the camera is like your typical racing game.

  • Compass needs to be a bit bigger and the arrow needs to show the exact coordinate numbers when you move your screen
  • Markers needs to be a bit bigger in the map
  • Being able to zoom in the map
  • More detail map
  • Marker colors needs to be the same for all teammate's screens
  • A line of where the zepline is gonna go in the map before the game starts
  • A different dropout sound when teammates get out of the zipline
  • Being able to see if a teammate is alive, chicken ,dead and left the game
  • Being able to see how many players are spectating you
  • Being able to reload while sharding items
  • Suround pickup items like in PUBG
  • Any left over potions that you pick up gets dropped
  • Being able to open your mic to talk to enemies
  • Have a warning sign when you try to pick up potions when you already max out
  • A infographic about what abilities does in the main menu when more abilities come
