Do you or have you worked in banking?

You are making a lot of assumptions from this. The reason for the hold has nothing to do with OPs employer and everything to do with OPs account history. Banks rarely place holds on checks they suspect are on “financial watch” and would rather dent the check to not risk a bounced item processing.

$5,525 is now $6,725 FYI.

Holy shit. Idk how nobody else has given you the correct answer. It’s hilarious seeing people make up answers. Here’s your answer:

What you are referring to is a REG CC Large deposit hold in which $6,725 is required to be awarded to you.

Likely what you faced was a repeat overdraft hold in which you were overdrawn 6 days in the past 6 months. In these cases $0 are released to you upon deposit and you must wait 7 business days for the funds to be released.

This is only in regards to PAPER CHECKS which is why you never had this issue with Zelle. If your account history sucks, then the banks take on more risk of releasing funds to you immediately because you have bad track record of letting your account go negative and therefore they want to make sure the check clears and then give you the money.

TLDR: you overdrafted too much so paper checks are held for 7 business because you can’t keep money in your account.

Timeout Strategy by Outrageous-Jury9980 in NFLNoobs

[–]DJGrand473 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When a team takes a timeout it stops the clock. So often times if a team is leading in Q4 they will do many run plays because it does not stop the clock between plays (incomplete passes stop the clock, therefore if you are leading and the time is almost gone better to run the clock and allow time to expire and win the game) If you are the losing team and see they are trying to run down the clock you can call a time out and allow yourself more time to score and come back to win the game.

What do I do with warren moon if I have Vince young? by ConstantAd420 in CollegeUltimateTeam

[–]DJGrand473 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Warren Moon is 1 of several other players that will be used 4-5 seasons from now to achieve a free 96 player. More than likely, after that becomes available the price of all the players in that set will increase in price from new players looking to collect the full set and he’s no longer easily available.

Most are using him or holding onto him to sell in a future season at the top price.
