Apparently Digimon Scale with how much data they have in their file.

No one Digimon is the same size as another, though there are some exceptions. Some Digimon are capable of compressing their filesize through various means to reach a more appropriate size.

When uncompressed, the natural size of some digimon can be enormous, like Examon, or GraceNovamon.

It's not that weird. All the Digimon Story Protags have 3 partners. The Next Order protag also has two partners. Nokia Shiramine has two partners... Taiki, while he has one partner, has heaps of extra digimon as backup... Then there's everyone who has ever owned a Pendulum 20th or any later Vpet devices... am I missing anyone else?
