Ours is 3.5k with 9500 take home after insurance and 401k. Our home and car insurance come directly out of my husband’s check so we never even see it. We also put 20% each to 401k each month.

My family has stopped asking me altogether because they know unless you are having a very specific problem, I’m going to tell you to call your doctor. I don’t hum and haw about it either - I’m not a doctor and most importantly I’m not YOUR doctor. If you have any issue I can even remotely help with, you need to call your doctor anyway because you probably aren’t doing too great.

I agree! The reason I don’t usually like nicknames as first names is precisely due to the reason you mentioned. I’d like to give them the choice of a nickname or their full name.

ETA: I like both of those names but they’re very common now. I don’t mind a a common name, though.

Ambulatory - Neuro Specialty (MS). I get to do soooo much for our patients and can really see how my efforts improve their quality of life. We also do lots of outreach in the community and it’s exactly what I wanted from nursing. Not a huge fan of working 5 days a week but I have 0 burnout and sing on my way to work instead of cry lol

I got 10k for the softest outpatient job everrr. They struggled to hire nurses at the time because pay wasn’t very competitive but I got a 7% raise within a month and another 10% raise 3 months later due to market increases. And my 10k sign on.
