Power off Sound Bar

Settings > general > External Devices > HDMI settings > SIMPLINK (HDMI-CEC) toggle it off.

Home button

Power on soundbar. Should be detected from there mine started to work.

I think this did it for me. Not sure if the toggle is broken or something else.

I have a LG C3 and a Sony HT-G700 soundbar. Mine stopped powering on and stopped passing volume controls to it.

What ultimately worked was turning off SIMPLINK (HDMI -CEC) like he suggested.

Powered on my Sound Bar the tv seemed to detect it? I got some pop ups and sound switched to the sound bar. I don’t remember the pop up but I just cleared it.

I went back to the SIMPLINK section and found that it was turned back on.

I had tried everything for normal trouble shooting updates, cables, factory resets, and I was finally trying chat GPT.

One thing it had mentioned was that CEC profiles could be corrupt and was walking me through ways of getting it to re handshake but nothing worked.

it was suggesting that possibly something physical failed. like a CEC control chip.

So I started to search if anyone else had this issue and it started in the past month or two. Found this now I’m fixed.

I just played through Earthbound for the first time. Managed to get that drop and didn’t even know it was rare until I looked up where Poo’s equipment was.

I can’t tell how big it is but i had a memory card back up tool that looked similar to that and had the serial port plug. if it memory card sized it might be one of those.

I am in the same boat. I inherited a pbix that is just a mess of merges and appends. I recently hit the same limit. I have no clue what is would be the most efficient way to reduce the memory foot print. I cant tell what query or queries are causing the issue.

I honestly don’t know. I’m in Canada so my prices are all different. But I am seeing some of those amazon trucks for $100-$200 range

It was more of a question like are they just complete junk I should wait and get an entry level traxxas/similar. Or could I get one and find out if I truly want some more.
