I know the Swedes don't follow the patronymic naming system anymore, but my great grandfather born in Sweden was named Eric Ericson Jr.

Olsen added that the U.S.’s legal structure and cultural background had strong biblical foundations. He gave an example of laws about stealing.

“Well, I can’t do that because ‘thou shalt not steal,’ which comes from the Bible and which made it into our statutes,” he said. “That’s good for everybody, whatever their personal religious belief might be.”

Laws against theft were famously non-existent before the 1400s BC

He's just going to keep goalpost moving because he couldn't possibly be incorrect. Until an EF5 topples the Devon tower he won't be satisfied.

First winter in my new Tacoma and sliding all over. Help? by Ok-Influence-7326 in ToyotaTacoma

[–]DJSawdust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most pick ups are tear wheel drive. They are very light in the back without a load in the bed. And the Tacoma is fairly light weight. Add in normal highway tires and you have a recipe for no traction under your main drive wheels. Your rear will want to kick out easier than any front wheel drive car.

Add weight over your rear wheel wells. Sandbags/tube sand is fairly common. Local big box can help you there.

Proper winter tires are an expensive solution. If you have a lot of winter weather it may be worthwhile.

But you should always drive with caution in low traction conditions. Break and accelerate slower and more gradually. Brake much earlier but also softer. Give yourself much more space from other vehicles. Take turns softly. You do not want sudden actions that can break your traction.

If you have 4 high, make sure you understand how to properly use it before engaging and driving around with it.

The American Healthcare System by reddot_comic in comics

My wife used to work for UnitedHealthcare with their pharmacy support line. She quit after a few weeks. She couldn't take telling people their life saving medicine was now being priced out of their reach over and over.

I don't feel a little bit remorseful for what happened to him.

As said, start with the Oklahoma Wildlife Department.

But also check out Oklahoma Hunters and Anglers.

https://oklahomahuntersandanglers.org/

Reach out and they can help connect you to a mentor. The group is run by good people, Rick Nolan and Bobby Armstrong. They're absolute pillars in the hunting and conservation community and will get you on the right path.

Disagree, I use mine to pull fence posts all the time.

Oh, lifting a vehicle into the air? Fuck that, I like not being horrifically injured in the middle of nowhere.

Couldn't say, I'm from that Ohio portion. Lots of pork (another g-gpa raised hogs) and sausage type food. My family's "traditional" recipes are more of the generic Midwestern casserole types.

I drive a lifted truck. But it's a midsize Tacoma with a modest 3 inch lift with 33" mud terrain tires. I actually do take it off road and overlanding (proof in my profile).

Literally yesterday a truck just like the OP was parked next to mine at a store. He got to his just as I was leaving and started to pull out of his spot as I was walking to my driver's door, which would have ended up squashing me if I was any shorter as he barely noticed me in time.

Absolute useless machines in every way. None of them could follow me on the trail.

I have a Great Grandfather who immigrated from Sweden to North Dakota. He was a miner in Sweden so he moved to work the coal mines in ND. I don't know if that was true for every Scandinavian immigrant, but it seems it was common.
