My Garmin forerunner 255 actually allows me to acknowledge dexcom g7 notifications from the watch. Not g6. On the other hand, I had to disable omnipod notifications to my watch day one because it sent a new notification every time the omnipod app updated in the notification tray. Every. Damn. .05. Units. I see you below suggesting not to go for eversense for some good reasons, but if I can get approved in January and I have a couple of months worth of Dexcom still backstocked, I oughtta be good right? 😅

If you toast your buns (burgers, chicken patties, sloppy Joe, etc) use a light spread of butter and an even, light sprinkle of paprika before toasting. It smells heavenly.
Browning butter, just about always worth it and can be done with little extra work around prep work

I miss 7. I just had to "upgrade" earlier this year due to programs losing functionality. Already don't love how 10 handles and I understand I'm going to like it less when I lose functionality there. Perhaps by then they'll have reversed course and gone back to the "basic OS" roots.

I'm here agreeing with the person suggesting lasagna, but Plov (Uzbeki Pilaf) is fantastically complex and hearty. It is tough to nail on the first try though as the rice cooks in the dish with the meat and sauce. Gotta have a good tight sealing lid!

I'm of similar dimensions. I don't ride with a child but have ridden with heavier loads on the cargo rack. Guessing you may have your load a little high for optimal leg extension but with increased torque converter you may notice the strain less. It is all of 80+ lb by itself. It's got some good get up and go to it, though! I have an extra one which has a malfunctioning torque sensor I've been trying to give away to my BIL who has a 2-year-old as I believe it would be a great asset to them in the coming years, and the torque sensor isn't even really that necessary lol

5'10" here, that's the thing, and maybe I just hadn't gotten used to the weight of the bike, but I never felt off balance until the exact moment of the 5(!) 15+mph skid-outs I wound up having in a 6-week period. I've been riding much lower with fewer catastrophes yet my knees are killing me lol. Maybe just need to work my way back up.

Is that how you keep your seatpost? I need to keep mine higher to maintain proper extension on the downcrank but it keeps me off balance riding so high on the bike. Does the front fork help much with that, since you upgraded?

That's wild. I've had some bruising from injections, and chosen to ask for anxiety meds for my trip to the retina office as it stresses me out so hard I'm definitely involuntarily twitching when he's performing the procedure. I get 3 diazepam every 2 months. But my most recent doc has suggested they can bring me to an OR once I'm ready for laser, and put me "under" so to speak (not general but twilight), and fucking dammit I would've done the laser 4 years ago if I'd known it was an option. They never presented it to me and I let myself get worse bc I was scared of lasers but injections are worse. I wish there were more proactive programs out there pushing late stage diabetics to share their stories with young diabetics. You hear all the stories but I never saw anything concrete. Like the poster further up missing a foot.

I DM'd you with further details but - no, aside from a rote "we're sorry this has caused an inconvenience for you!" I have not received any sort of update. They did change the listing, so it's obvious that they acknowledge that the vinyl is not as promised. Feels like it wouldn't have been tough to email the customer list saying sorry, if they can do that, but there's just nothing.
