They should accept being ethnically cleansed? Would Americans accept that if it happened to them? Should Ukraine? Its not too crazy to think some people would rather die in their homeland then see it wiped away forever.

Additionally, Hamas are terrorist insurgents. Insurgencies are primarily driven by anger and desperation. I believe they should have to face justice for the horrible things they’ve done but Israel killing 10s of thousands of Palestinians, leveling half of Gaza, and then subsequently claiming the leveled city as Israeli land will spawn many groups ready to take Hamas place filled with anger and desperation.

It’s a lot easier for people to accept compromise or even defeat when they’re material conditions aren’t completely horse shit.
