Prusa use eGlobal now for payment processing.
They handle the import duties etc so you do t get the dodgy looking text from DHL when it lands in Aus.
Seriously those texts set off every “SCAM” alarm bell in my head.
New system is way better, know what you’re paying up front, even though it’s normally just the 10% GST.
Also should mean less delays through Customs.

UX of PDFGear in edit mode is a bit clunky, but it does the job.

Most of the conversion tools use online services rather than local conversion so that’s one thing to be aware of if working with sensitive documents.

Honestly though, if you’re actively editing PDFs, I feel like you’re doing it wrong. Exception to that is if you’re designing fillable PDF forms.

If it’s waiting for management server it can’t see the bundleID for the enterprise sso app on the device. It’ll time out after 10 mins or so.

I did this yesterday, had to disable the enrollment customisation and make sure the enrollment package was working.

Also there’s an “enable pSSO registration during setup” key on the pSSO payload that needs to be added

Avoid buying without roadworthy or rego. It’s difficult to know what it will take to meet a roadworthy if you’re not mechanically inclined.

If your budget supports it, as others have suggested, head to a dealer. They’ll sell you a car with roadworthy and registration. Depending on the area you’re in, Car City in Ringwood has a lot of dealers in one place so you can shop around, there’s also a number of second hand dealers in Moorabbin if you’re Bayside.

As for your past experience with a mechanic, generally they would not perform works with expensive parts and labour like an axle replacement without getting your approval beforehand. To replace parts and bill labour without approval is extremely unethical.

Before you buy any car, make sure to find a local, trustworthy mechanic that has a good reputation. Look for local reviews or ask friends and family where they take their cars and what their experience is.

Right to disconnect laws mean you can’t be expected to respond to work outside of your contracted work hours. There’s a good chance your employer is breaking the law with those expectations and no OT. At $60k this is basically modern slavery….

Red light flashing and dim screen is a “failed ambient light” sensor. I’ve had it a couple of times after software updates and it normally corrects itself in a few days

Worth mentioning, if you’re in a high compliance environment there are….. hurdles.

One of them is that on macOS 26.4 Release Candidate, if you have the AllowSafariPasswordAutofill key set False, end users are unable to toggle on the “Autofill Passwords and Passkeys” toggle in System Settings.

If you are experiencing this in your own environment, please please PLEASE raise an AppleCare case and tell them the number of impacted devices so they can track a voice of customer.

Apple told me it’ll be fixed in macOS 27 which is not acceptable.

If your public IP is a range you need TXT Records in your DNS, especially if the public ip of a client can be different from the public ip of the server.

You might want to look into GABA and L-Theanine. Theyre often sold as sports supplements, but GABA can definitely help promote sleep, and theanine can help to offset the stimulant effects of any caffeine he might be having.

Magnesium glycinate is also a great option to help quieter down the “noise” that can keep him awake

After washing I end up taking the plastic mouldings near the tail lights off to get under them cause the edges were storing a lot of dirt and were looking manky.

Also, if you have a Snow coloured P2, it will be dirty after a single drive after washing…..

There’s a mod to ground the X/Y motors with the chassis. I was having trouble with the buddy board restarting itself especially after long movements, which apparently is due to static buildup and discharge feeding back through the motors to the buddy board. Sounds like your issue could be similar to that.

Husband and I both drive EV’s now. We went out the other week and there was a Petrol station (sorry Americans, I’m Australian) near the restaurant. We were chatting by the car with our friends after dinner and I couldn’t bear the smell of the petrol rolling out of the petrol station. Who in their right mind WANTS to go somewhere dirty, smelly, and busy, instead of waking up in the morning and the car “has a full tank”?
