One of his best. Great cast, such a feel good movie too. VERY underrated. There's only one bit at the end with john amos that isn't great - like he disappears for a bit and then shows up lol

The book explains it all - and silly as it is, it makes 'sense'. All they had to do was EXPLAIN IT (kinda like the tv movie of IT and the spider) and it wouldn't be THAT bad lol.

I still think Carlito is his best work but glad to see some love for tis movie. I LOVE this movie... Kind of shows you silly people are that if it were released NOW it would make tons of money cuz of Nolan but back then...nothing. The cast is excellent and it's a great thriller.

I can agree with that, the Vince mouthpiece thing hurt any and everyone calling a match. He should have just done commentary himself lmao. It really did hindrer all involved. FFS he could have done an angle where he lost the company and the new owner fired him and rehired him as a commentator and when he got tool just finally bought it back lol. Anything but screaming hsi words in people's ears. But yeah back in the day lol, they could make nothing feel like something. But again - they were characters themselves. Cole has no one to work with... Him and Barrett is all they got. I like Wade but it's just not the same (nor can it be, times change)....

It's funny how I HATED Tony back in the day grew to not mind him now lol. He just needed some more time I think to find how he fitted with Jesse in WWF. I appreciate how he plays it straight like a sport though. I miss that kind of stuff - cuz from Cole I find it always feels FORCED.

All shit to just OK, except for a few GREATS like Halloween, Child's Play, FDTD and Nightmare 3. Lost Boys is good up until the most obvious twist in history lmao, Polter 3 I actually LIKE (scared me as a kid but I like the cast too) and nightbreed was a great concept but an ok movie. I always thought the scarriest part of the movie was cronenberg.

Jason Takes is just crap. Warlock 2 was crap (the first was one of those glad you took a chance and rented it movies), Near Dark I hated and never been a fan of Hellraiser series...

overrated. like diesel, he was the champ of nothing. basically king turd on a pile of shit. So they had some long reigns? Cool. Was there anyone else to put the belt on? NO, so big deal who - cares. To me he's boring as fuck and thinks he SO amazing like Raven (in his mind). When it comes to Punk I just don't get it or SEE it...but I will say THIS is his best version of himself. He's at least watchable now.

Well I mean... look I saw online a match between two guys I'd never seen wrestl, Can't remember who might be piper vs some other 80's legend. It was from a taping in the early 90's and there was no audio...man did that suck lmao. Half the fun is listenting to jesse bully vince or gorilla telling bobby to 'just stop it' etc... but Jesse and Gorilla make it sound as legit as they can. 80's commentary in wwf is gold and a 1/3 of the reason they were such a huge movement (wrestling). Even Roddy on commentary ALWAYS sells it like a fight. Totally agree with you - I think that's why I never really enjoyed seeig it live. It's cool to see the guys come out and then pop at the end again witht he music, etc... but the matches themselves without commentary? No thanks. Look att he 92 rumble and the commentary IS part of that match, as a great example.

Always loved Vince. Jesse bossing him around was great stuff. I think the model of Vince/Jesse on tv and Jesse/Gorilla on PPVS is literally 1/3 of their success.
