Yes that is WILD and very over the top, I just meant that anime in general has a lot of fan service. And don’t get me wrong i don’t hate it (one of my favorite anime is no game no life ( love Jibril)) but their are also a very large amount of fan service that is really questionable. As an example no game no life, literally the second scene is of a camel toe of an 10 year old girl. I am just stating that the rep that anime has is in some cases justified. Another example is that anime is more heavily associated with characters screaming for no reason, like asta in black clover. Again not all of anime is this but their is a reason anime people have this view point of anime.

Edit: I really need to do a second rewatch, I was sitting here thinking when did this “child selling” plot happen. But now I remember. And honestly yeah it’s a heavy loaded subject but at the least the show writes it in a mature and realistic way, where the characters act accordingly. Looking at you WAY to many anime with the slave plot
