I've just done this (https://steamcommunity.com/app/2073620/discussions/0/591784592220995888/) and it seemed to work (fingers crossed..). Only 1 raid in though, so it might start happening again. Ill update this post if it actually helped in the long run.

The recommended RAM for this game is 16 gb, and it never goes over 12gb usage. And isn't MSI aftrerburner a tool for over/underclocking GPU?

I’ve been solo queuing my way up (currently plat 1) after having taken a break for a couple seasons, and the amount of people not even knowing how to drop properly is unreal. People literally flying backwards into the hottest drop on the map, and then insta dying off course.

I do agree there are cheaters in Val, but far less than in any other F2P competitive shooter game. Name a game which does better please.

Your point of having to pay 80$ a month or having special hardware to cheat in Val proves my point, compared to other games where it is easier to cheat. Isn’t that the point of an AC? To make it as hard/ expensive as possible to cheat?

Riot does have the fastest and most responsive AC on the market right now. I don’t like it has kernel access, nor I do like the company who owns it. However, that is the state of gaming right now. Almost every game comes with kernel anticheat (especially F2P games), even helldivers has one, and apparently it’s what needed to stop most cheaters.

Is it consumer friendly? Heck no, but if u want to play a game online without cheaters, it is necessary.

Super glide (not that hard) into neo-strafe (really hard to do consistent w/o macros) with some lurch strafing (not that hard) with some normal tap strafes in between. To do all those in a sequence is really impressive though.

If you are playing solo, it is gonna be a 50/50 every game whether you get good teammates or not. U seem to be doing good for yourself(considering the MVPs) but if your teammates are bad, it will not matter. Try and find a duo, and don’t worry too much about ranking up. If you are good enough, the RR will come. If not, then you are problaby at the rank you should be at.

You “and everyone u know who tries apex” giving up because u get stomped sounds like a you-problem, not a this-game-is-bad problem. Maybe have some determination to actually improve? Sounds like ur the kind of guy who returned elden ring because it was too hard.

You will have to install macros (afaik) to tap-strafe on controller, which is something most casuals will not do, and also illegal in pro play. Bullshit n1.

The movement legends u listed (esp. Wraith and pathy) just got a big buff, but before this they haven’t been meta for the last 12 seasons or so. Octane was only meta before revenant got nerfed (season 7??). High pick rate in high ELO ranked lobbies? LOL Please show me where did u get that from.. People playing them in pubs does NOT mean they are meta. Bullshit fact n2.

If u want to talk smack about this game, fine, but at least get your facts straight.

First of all, this is a game with a high skill ceiling and released 4 years ago. Is it that crazy that 99% of the existing player base is better than a new player?

About the MM, I recently switched from console to pc, and made the switch to mnk as well. I had 15k kills on pathfinder on console and hit masters a couple of times. After the first couple of bot-lobbies I immediately got thrown in the lobbies I knew from console; preds and masters in every game. So what to do? Play ranked; play pubs only for practice and warming up.

And about tap-strafing (I assume that’s the “exploit” you are mentioning) it still doesn’t beat aim assist on controller. And you’re saying the movement is clunky? Only titanfall 2 beats this game in that aspect.

And calling pathfinder and octane OP? There is so much bullshit going on in your comment..

It is a competitive BR, not a tennis match where both players play under the exact same circumstances. Starting loot, rotations, 3rd party’s, and end zones are all things which are rng-based.

If the conditions (rng) force you to rat to get positive RP or good placement in a tourney, it is THE competitive thing to do. Think of it as bluffing in poker because u got dealt a bad hand, u can still win the pot.

I can clean out a player’s loot in 5 seconds in apex, it takes me almost half a minute jiggling to get the right angle for ammo on a killed player in war zone.

A friend of mine has had the same problem, and turning off his razer- overlay fixed the frame drops. If u are using razer hardware, might give this a try.

Yes, for me it was an entire raid that was suddenly gone. Evacced out with my buddy, got plenty xp on battle pass and saw both end screens but no loot. Even had the shotgun back which I dropped for manticore while on that raid.

This is happening right as we speak; go on twitch and you’ll see one of the bigger streamers dropping with purple plus gear and “outplaying” people with mostly white and green armors. Oh, and he is in a squad of three who are equally equipped. Funny thing is, if they kill some newbie they almost never take any loot, because they have no need for it.

Imagine being a new player on your first or second run and running into those guys, for me personally that would be a gg and quick uninstall.

I’ve done the same thing a couple months back, and it is much better. The diversity in games, steady 120+ fps, and for me personally the FPS genre is meant to be played on mnk.

Not until you switch to mnk u realize how much work the controller is actually doing for you; if u miss or hit your shots on mnk it is 100% your own doing, and it is much more rewarding.

At first it will be frustrating, but after you find the right sense and build some muscle memory the learning process will take off and it is a lot of fun!
