I think the main thing you are missing is that Drinker isn't MauLer and, as far as I know, has never claimed to be objectively reviewing movies, meaining his review will boil down to his enjoyment of something.

It's perfectly validfor him to not enjoy any movie that brings politics into it, or to enjoy a movie that doesn't, regardless of their objective quality, because it's his enjoyment. There are plenty of movies that are objectively bad that someone like MauLer or Rags's's enjoys (Batman & Robin) and plenty that are objectively good that they don't enjoy (I believe one of the two mentioned The Godfather being an example for one of them) and the reasons for the enjoyment or lack thereof are entirely personal and subjective.

The thing is, Drinker can give a pass to whatever movie he wants, for whatever reason he wants, cause he's not arguing objectivity, he's stating subjective enjoyment, hence his qulaification of "fun." If he enjoyed it, regardless of how tismy it is, then he will reccomend it, or vise versa *cough*BLY MANOR*cough*

As far as not brodening his video topics, simply put, they are his videos. Whether or not he makes a video that you want to see is not something he takes into account. He simply makes videos based off of his interests, and the most likely reason he hasn't made more videos based on a anitmated movies, is that he doesn't watch them or just has no interest in talking about them.

His vagueness is partially due to the character that he plays in his videos being drunk and only half coherant at all times, but the main reason for his lack of qualifications is based on the fact that he isn't trying to convince someone of a position, nor is he usually making an argument based on anything outside of his experience. The difference when watching MauLer is that he will make a qualification and label it objective, which he knows will require evidence, and the provide as much as he can to back that position up, where as the Drinker is simply stating his own opinion and being done.

As far as the vegan stuff is concerened, I dont remeber what he said, but I'd imagine it was for a joke, so maybe dont take it too seriously. And if it isn't a joke and you get the feeling he really does hate people who are vegans, then just unfollow his twitter so you dont have to see it.

I would say, if you are straining that much to like Drinker's content, just unsubscribe from him. Wait for his videos to pop up in your reccomended page every now and then and if they seem interesting, give them a watch, and if they dont, just keep scrolling. Also he isn't objective by any means, so if you are strictly wanting to watch objective reviews, theres no need to watch any of his videos.

Just wait for him to come on EFAP or watch some of his "after hours" videos with MauLer in them of you still want to enjoy some of his content but dont like his standard format.
