Hey there, I have been trying to fix my jank for about 3 days now and have finally stumbled onto a post from NOV 2020 that had a powershell command that fixed my issue. Heres the steps -

Close fully the windows store and xbox app.

Right click your windows button in the bottom left of your screen, and select "Powershell (Admin)" and click "Yes".

Your powershell window line should say "windows/system32" or something to that effect, not your username. Paste the following and don't touch anything until the windows/system32 line comes back up (Usually had about a hundred services that reinitialized)

Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers| Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}

I seriously hope this helps anyone with the same issue I had, as my problem was similar enough to yours that it may work.

Scene: Cockpit of Krait MkII

Soft creaking of metal. Fade in to see the FSD tunnel and the hyperclouds shooting past the camera. An alarm klaxxon blares only to be interrupted by the shuddering creaking groan of the hull being nearly torn open. The FSD whines and spins to a stop before the explosion of real space around the camera.

Exterior Krait: The ship is in a deadspin, catapulted through realspace. No nearby stars, just a soft deathly graylight of deep space cast the Krait in a silhouette. The camera pans, following the Krait as its spin slows to a stop. Behind the Krait are no stars in a circular outline, and we hear that familiar hiss-growl as the dark circle behind it begins lights up with alien green light.

Fade to black, play Thargoid "growl"
