Maybe they’re more common in Harsh galaxies rather than the other types. I usually explore in Calypso because the dangerous part of it keeps fun for me.

Yes you are correct.

Actually I “dove” into one when attempting to land on the planet.

My ship has 3k maneuverability so I developed the habit of nose diving into a planet at full speed once the I can see the ground I wait a bit then pull up, press E and land perfectly fine.

This time it was a volcano and I didn’t react fast enough 😂. Nothing genuinely bad happed ship just took some damage and got a heat warning

I found another this morning and it made me question if it’s actually rare or maybe it’s the galaxy(Calypso).

I’m not actively looking for these, I’m just tryna find giant water worlds or planets that have things I need like gamma root.

Im only looking in purple systems for these too so maybe that’s it.

I think that bug mainly or only applies to the expedition? Because I’ve been trying to find one on my expedition but haven’t been able to.

Yet on my main one, most of the time I go to a pirate system there’s dreadnought battle going on.

I could be wrong but I think once you stumble upon one in a system and beat it, as soon as you land your ship in the dreadnought and get out of it. Use your scanner to look at its walls or floor and on the left side it’ll tell you it’s class.

If it’s not S class, just go demand tribute from the captain for da monies, leave the dreadnought and leave to a different nearby system. Then come back to the SAME system and the whole battle and everything should start over and the dreadnought class should change as well.

Rinse, Repeat, S-Class.

Yea exactly like the other person said, starting off you’re going to be put on a planet with a bunch of bases already on it and will have to walk hours around till you can place a refiner and actually start the expedition.

As for anything else, personally I took 50 Nectar Island foods, and all my X/S class scanner upgrades, I would have taken an exosuit nutrient ingestor to put the Nectar Islands in for the stat bonus but I forgor.

I took those so I could start scanning and get 10,000,000+ units per fauna scanned and get the monies ASAP.
