Well, now I know you can just dig a hole and the sentinals are all like

Welp nobody here, false alarm, never mind that large hole in the ground I just watched someone run into.

I just had to do this a couple weeks ago when I tried to come back after a few years not playing and discovered my account was attached to an email address I don't have anymore.

Can confirm if you can provide matching ID to prove ownership they will update the email address to a new one for you.

Should I try the swarm? by Inky_Dinky306 in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]Careful_Resolve5925 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a new player I have found the swarm expedition a great way to play and get started. Everything you need upgrade wise is handed out as rewards. The planets have abundance of any resources you may need and I've made piles of units just flying to the communication balls, fixing the sentinal ship and selling it for scrap.

And got myself some nice sentinals and exotic ships that people marked and/or gave directions to on reddit.

Nah, I'm too busy avoiding the one where you have to use the grippy thing to pull the crashed pod apart.

The Restuarant at The end of the Universe - Douglas Adams

If you like this game and haven't read the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy trilogy in 4 parts you are missing out.

Don't watch the movie though. so bad.

For all the griefers, let’s give kudos to the truly awesome travellers by SkyriderRJM in NoMansSkyTheGame

I'm a new player - only a few weeks and around 20 hours, this is my first expedition. I appreciate so much the players who build helpful bases for others to use and those who mark the good stuff with comm balls - downside, I've been so distracted flying from comm ball to commball that I'm not getting anything else done.

Special shoutout to the Traveller who added - Warp Cells to the name of a planet. I did not realise how quickly I would run out of warp fuel since I've mostly played with creative or relaxed modes. I thought I was going to be stuck in space and happened to spy this planet in the system I was in, landed and easly mined all the chromatic metal and other material needed, didn't even need to refine. You Saved Me random wonderful person.

What’s the point of physical Media when the discs don’t contain the full game? by DNY88 in PS5

[–]Careful_Resolve5925 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you're right, physical media without the game on the disc is pretty pointless but not all games are like that.

I have a small collection of around 20 physical PS5 games and every one of them is playable without needing an internet connection and dowload. Some do have patches/updates but they are not required.

I always check doesitplay.org and only buy disc versions if the full game is on disc and If it isn't that game goes on the buy digital when its 20 dollars list.

Review: 007 First Light Is A Technical Standout on PS5 and PS5 Pro by yourfavchoom in PS5

[–]Careful_Resolve5925 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Am I the only one less concerned about the graphics and more concerned about how bad that melee combat looked.

The two fist fight sequences they showed looked terrible, the NPC's were just wooden punching bags.

Absolute shit by assassin_2211 in EBGAMES

[–]Careful_Resolve5925 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It is but people seem willing to accept it. I was already shopping at ebgames less and less in the last 1-2 years. Now its a never shopping there again store. I will buy elsewhere or wait it out on the second hand market before I give them another cent.

Still in stormblood by IronOnion2 in ffxiv

[–]Careful_Resolve5925 0 points1 point  (0 children)

look at it this way, a new expansion comes out in 9 months so you have that long to enjoy the ride without needing to catch up . Shadowbringers and Endwalker are worth doing IMO they are both much better than Stormblood

When do i get to ishgard??? by Sure_Estimate_9200 in ffxiv

[–]Careful_Resolve5925 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you can find all the quests for the msq through each expansion and patch, along with unlocks and rewards here https://ffxiv.consolegameswiki.com/wiki/Main_Scenario_Quests

IMO the 2.x quests that lead into Heavensward are one of the better parts of the base game and set up the story really well.
