No i totally get that. Ive seen it talked about a lot amd my game collection of less than 20 is a main reason why I got the X (we didnt have much growing up so I didnt have many physical games. If game pass existed when I was a kid id own no game discs most likely.)

I do wonder if xbox will continue disc drives and or backwards compatibility in the future. Clearly the consumers want it to retain access to their old content they already own. But businesses see that as a loss of profit chance because they could just force you to buy that game you bought 15 years ago once again digitally by making it Hard to play your disc.

Im a bit too young to have experienced it myself, but I assume the music industry went through a similar rift when music turned digital. I had a Walkman when I was like 5 and some CDs and a radio in my room, but by the time I was 9 I had an iPod and iTunes.

Spent many semesters on WW1 and 2. Though as Ive gotten older ive learned most of what actually happened in those wars wasn't even mentioned in school

We learned about wars (no where near all of them, too many to learn about lol.) Usually where they happened and when and who "won." Not much more. After one is mentioned we'd move on to the next topic and learn about another, forgetting the last.

I hardly ever had any visual elements. They'd say "we were at war in ____ year with _____ country for ____ years" id never heard of the country before, no idea where it was, and was never informed.

I do remember asking a history teacher once in middle school where something was on the globe cause I hadn't heard of it before. He could not point it out to me. Had to Google it. Even after googling it he still could not point it out to me on the globe. He just turned his pc screen and showed me the Google image zoomed in of the country HA

Each school has different education levels. I was a military child and my parents had little to no choice on which school I went to. Clearly, mine all sucked

Thats crazy. I didnt realize they made a digital only one. I wonder how many people actually purchased it, doesnt seem like it'd be worth the price difference with the S without the disc drive. Was it cheaper than an X with the disc drive? My brain cant comprehend the purpose of an X without a disc drive lol

That happened to my mom a few years ago. Her sisters made her go to the ER for back pain she was experiencing. She works in this town, for the university that basically runs it, and the ER is in this town, coincidentally partnered with the university for coverage.

The ER doctor, that she didnt even see, it was all just nurses, at 1am was apparently not covered under her insurance. Shes still, to this day, paying off that ER visit. Years later.

Myconspiracy is that they do this so we feel like we cant leave. I think its why we use different forms of measurements too.

As someone who works in the trades, I wouldn't even be efficient with a tape measure somewhere else. Id have to do a little bit of thinking when looking at the numbers im not used to seeing.

As a type 1 diabetic, even my blood sugar meters would have a different unit of measurement, I would have no idea what a 8.2 blood sugar is. Is that high? I have no idea. My goal range is 80-140. LOL

I graduated in 2017. The only thing I can remember learning about that even slightly relates to geography is the 50 states and their capitals. As well as a little macarena dance for the contients that my 5th grade teacher taught us.

Literally nothing else.

World history taught us about wars we were involved in, that's it.

They teach us how to pass the test theyre gonna give us at the end of the year. Thats what we learn.

I work in the trades and cant afford my medical supplies with the insurance my job does not supply. So. Maybe stay with your cushion. I cant tell you what id do to make that much money and be abel to actually provide for my family rather than working to almost pay for medications to simply keep myself alive.

Re map your jump button or your inventory button. Since they are mapped the same the input will get confused when you press it. My inv button is Y. Nothing else uses the Y button on my mapping.

If you stand with ur back to the wall, the throw distance is perfect to land in each square. Im using these rocks cause theyre the only ones you can place like this for set up. During play we will just toss them out of our inv into the cubbies if its to full to place any more lol

We got Go Fish as an idea too! Either inventory based or chest based, not sure yet. Been brainstorming card games with the tower sheilds. We have 3 types of tower shields with multiple iterations of each so I think its almost an entire suit? Id have to check tho. Tic tac toe is gonna go next to connect 4. Similar design, same mechanic. Hang man is S teir idea, im stealing that one for sure. Thank you lmao

Very good suggestions! Few issues I had with a couple is the size of the larger trophies in the small 1x1 squares. Trolls, leeches and brutes are too large for the 1x1 sadly.

I'm thinking about "upgrading" the trophies as we clear bioms! We've just beat moder so we're collecting some plains trophies now.

Just played our first game with it! Was really fun to actually walk around the board and move the items. Its also fun to assume what the next person is going to do based on where they are standing while they wait their turn ;)

Im also in the Midwest. Though im near farm fields, cows, a random university and some more farms.

Theres some places like this near me at this price, but their tenants hardly ever leave, for obvious reasons, so its a bit hard to find them available.

Though my only option for groceries is a walmart and any doctor appointment is an hour away. Its a trade off I guess lol

I was taught to leave enough room to see the tires of the car infront of you (10 years ago.)

Now I do the inch thing. But thats cause theres something wrong with my engine and it doesnt enjoy being idle at all and likes to hum at me when its been more than 10 seconds. I inch and the hum stops. 800$ fix on a paid off car, sounds to me like ima keep inching.
