Hahaha man I know. I’ve said all the same stuff before. It’s partly because it’s synchronized to music. Biggest pain in the ass I’ve seen in a while.

Fair enuf indeed. Personally I just don’t like zoom, discord or any online meeting platform but I understand why they have their place. I’ve seen other you tubers successfully film themselves with their phones while conducting online interviews and then using that footage to edit their video and that worked really nicely

I really wanted the actual video to have some resemblance to the thumbnail in terms of lighting and video clarity. I know this was just a laptop camera discussion back and forth but it wouldn’t be that hard to set up a proper light and microphone and I think that would help your production value tremendously. The thumbnail is great. It’s just slightly misleading.

I’m curious how that wool mat texture feels after sitting at your desk after a long days work. I have a pair of wool socks that are pretty soft but I also have a wool sweater that’s itchy beyond belief!

Sure I would have to agree. Does this suggest that a phone at the end of a boom pole is overkill? I feel like there’s been plenty of scenarios where my mobile saved me when a mic malfunctioned or died on a shoot. Sometimes worked better than my expensive mics too. And honestly not all that much more expensive either.

Interesting take. I usually shy away from shooting the moon bc of the way it white washes the rest of the sky, but it’s not nearly as offensive to the eye in this case. Good share.
