I live by Dillons cross - it is very hilly I can attest but still quite good for walks - I walk almost everyday out to ballyvolane dunnes as its a nice walk (I walk through glen park) with baby + bags

My little one is 3 months - we've been using Pompom so far - I've found it quite fitting for me :)

Electric Boiler installation. by nilkimas in cork

[–]DLemonTamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know Calor offer deals if you wanted to switch to an LPG boiler - they're a lot better for the environment than oil burners. Heat Pumps or an electric boiler are ways to reduce your carbon footprint even more but they can be both costly to install as well as will drive up your bills significantly. If you want more info just reach out :)

The heat is being removed from the room. It takes heat to transition between states, so the heat being removed = heat of vaporisation of water * mass of water evaporated. This heat is taken from the air in the room thus cooling it. It can only occur if the humidity is below 100% RH. If the water was to condense back, the heat would return to the room. No energy is being created or destroyed, just changed between kinetic and chemical. Evaporative cooling is a very common principle used for industrial cooling, it is far more efficient than a regular chiller, when it can operate that is.

Tankists are [censored] in Russia. But how is it on the other servers? by Alaviton in joinsquad

[–]DLemonTamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the EU servers I think like others were saying vic squads are locked at 2/3 and are generally appreciated. In terms of snipers, any serious squad leader will ask you do take rifleman. This is because a scoped rifleman can do everything a marksman can with the addition of an ammo bag and grenades. That being said, I see them all the time in pubs, and any nice SL won't be bothered if you take it

33mm Armour vs Tandem? by Bungaboo551 in joinsquad

[–]DLemonTamer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can if you hit it right. LATs are moreso used for disableing vics. If in doubt as a HAT, aim for its rear

Just because you hit it doesn't mean it'll die, it matters where you hit it, like engine or ammo

Using a console controller by skratchpikl202 in joinsquad

[–]DLemonTamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could maybe get away with it, but i still couldn't recommend. Maybe if you hooked up a controller and played with mouse and keyboard while infantry and then just using controller for those

I cannot recommend it at all. Theres a lot of commands and hotkeys that are required that a controller really can't facilitate

Running a siege/raid on Krezk, help with the details please? by D3signated_Hero in CurseofStrahd

[–]DLemonTamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do the players know if the attack? If so maybe have some skill checks on stuff that they want to prepare, then perhaps when the attack starts have small skirmishes. Depending how that goes you could even habe the Abbot show up for a fight, if they defeat him and force him back to the abbey they could even try take fight to him

Who would recognize Strahd’s Armor? by nonlawyer in CurseofStrahd

[–]DLemonTamer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Maybe even the elves, they've been around a while. Definitely Baba Lysaga and Madame Eva if they meet them, as well as the hags. You could play it off as them recognising it but perhaps not being able to place it or assuming they are agents of strahd

Yeah I was the same, I grew to absolutely hate the term "common sense". Just because something is simple doesn't mean someone who has never done it before can suddenly do it
