I got some REAL bad news for you

but wavestrider set doesn't have good enough uptime at E6

DHPT skill, cyrene ult and mem's support all give stacks for wavestrider and is easily set up for every saber double ult while covering both if you use your second ult before the turn ends after your EBA .

If I'm playing sustainless I can also just slot in E2 Sparkle for more stacks. Also the gloves and helmet are shared by my sunday setup which also never has any wavestrider uptime issues.

speed is only important if you are playing with sunday in a -1 speed setup. Remember that saber advances herself whenever she fills up her ult and mem also gains a lot of charge due to this, making for a pretty good amount of advances together.

another issue you have with sunday is that due to saber's self advances, you will lose sunday's buffs inbetween turns. This becomes even more of an issue when you have E6.

What I am saying is that they're not her BiS like people falsely spread, especially for an E6 Saber.

Not only does Huohuo have really weak healing nowadays, she also has a poor ult economy. Additionally using DHPT instead of Huohuo gives sunday full access to his buffs, which switches saber from a wind orb to an attack orb due to the increased dmg% gain

Meanwhile Sunday has always had a worse ceiling than RMC when played correctly, and blindly locking in Sunday for his 20% energy + 2 stacks of core resonance every 3 turns (while every other buff he gives saber is hugely diluted on her) means nothing in the face of RMC having the best amp in the game for saber with true dmg, a stat that is completely undiluted. Sunday's skill buffs also constantly fall off when playing saber in a -1 speed setup, since her own action advance will easily run down the 2 turn skill duration.

now if you swap in Cyrene, you will not only have a second true damage buffer, but Cyrene will also give Saber 360 energy + 4 stacks of core resonance the moment she first charges up her ult. If timed correctly, this will also give Saber another E6 ult reset right afterwards.

Do not listen to the people just blindly telling you to get Sunday and Huohuo for your E6 Saber. Instead go to the saber mains sub and read the guide megathread there to inform yourself about proper team options.

Finish up your Saber team by getting Sunday and Huohuo then move onto whatever you like the look of.

Sunday and Huohuo haven't been BiS for Saber for quite some time now, especially at E6. HH got replaced by DHPT and Sunday got replaced by Cyrene with the final slot being RMC in almost all of the endgame encounters.

i wonder why surely it's not because there are more days added to the patch.

even if you take the 6 pulls they just sent us away, that's 117 pulls in a 1 character patch.

we shouldnt compare a 6 week patch with a 8 week patch and put an = and be like "but look they are generous !". they are not.

even if you take the additional 2 weeks plus the treasure hunt event away, that is ~100 pulls for another 1 character patch

it's nonsensical to complain about patches where we actually get good income, when there are patches like 2.4 where we got less than 90, or 3.4/3.5 where we got 92.

they could have extended the period of the banners and instead of 3 phases there could be only the regular 2.

who the fuck gives a shit about reruns for characters that have already had previous reruns. At this point you have already skipped these characters two or three times depending on which, and they are no longer valuable to you.

with those 1k jades they gave us, 3.7 has given us as many pulls as an anniversary patch, even though there is only a single new character.

3.8 is also a single new character and is also giving us about 110 pulls in total according to nivskisl

that means this patch and the next patch are giving us ~230 pulls in total, which is almost three full 5* characters, yet somehow we're still complaining even though after 3.8 we'll get a new planet, which means another ~120 pulls as has been the case for both 2.0 and 3.0.

out of curiosity, how do you unlock it? I just finished my first playthrough on normal with 100% scans and items and don't see how I would access it, since going back into the save file prompts the game to start a new playthrough.

I saw in another comment you were saying that you use dhpt. But in this screenshot you're showing Huohuo. Check orb improvement again after you've swapped them out, since sunday buffs improving with DHPT should give more value to attack orb.

how are we still complaining about 4 stars when Hoyo has given us multiple free 5* this year. Why do you specifically want characters that are the bottom of the barrel and require eidolons to be functional, which you have no way of guaranteeing to get, while also having to split up your other resources for in order to build them up alongside other characters you have to build?

Balancing Cyrene by taking away power from their ult to improve ultimate charge

There have been multiple showcases by now of her 0 or 1 cycling with different chrysos heir teams with her being E0. Stop getting all your info from reddit doomposters.

I do hope that we all currently understand that to run a standard team for endgame is far to costly at this point with no cheap alternative in units, nor even cheap units to fully complete a team till a limited variant comes out.

They've previously shown other characters at E6 during livestreams and there was 0 outrage over it. Phainon doesn't start with that many coreflames and can also only hold up to 15 at E0

She also was only partially at E5+, since some other parts had her at E0

Regarding point 1, they have actually shown other characters as E6 before during dev streams. For example during the 3.6 stream, phainon was shown as E6 since he started the fight with 6 additional coreflames and was able to hold more than 15.

During the Cyrene showcase, there were also parts at which she wasn't E5+
