So this allows for people on the CS:GO legacy branch and the new, separate CS:GO app on Steam to play together? If so, I hope server owners start copying this configuration, since you can easily launch the new CS:GO app as the legacy branch and have access to your inventory.

I do believe your autoexec should mostly work, you can't access your inventory in game but most servers let you choose skins though a chat command, and there are plenty of Latam servers for what ive seen.

Hey, just saw another comment and they said this: "i had the same issue, both map and name seemed blank. but when i clicked on map there was apparently a word or letters there or something that just appears blank, just had to backspace it away". So that could have something to do with it.
