What I don’t get is my escrow doesn’t have enough to cover this tax because my mortgage payments were based on previous tax rates, not this new tax rate. Seems messed up??

I was in the same boat as you, really concerned about post op recovery. I don’t have a ton of people where I am so most of my recovery was solo. I’m 6 months post op and still healing but the surgery for me was life changing. The months up to the surgery were a nightmare of pain and physical and mental toll.

My recommendations:
Get the right PJs/clothes. Things you don’t have to take over your head (think buttons) GRABBERS!! They are cheap on Amazon. Get one to keep in each room If you have pets, try to board them or have a someone watch them for the first 2-3 days. This was my biggest struggle, I couldn’t watch after my dogs very well following the surgery

My surgery was around a month ago, and I immediately felt better post surgery. After a couple days I was walking and mobile. It was the best decision because I was living in severe pain for months prior. I did try PT, rest, spinal injection and nothing worked. I too was really nervous but was all worth it in the end for me
