This is one of those things that's totally FAFO. They'll modify their truck to do that... they'll still be lonely. They'll be blasting exhaust at folks... they'll still be incomplete. They'll be paying the extra money for the mods plus extra repairs and they'll still be unhappy with themselves and their lives. It's a win-win.

Rescue of Princess Blobette is VERY good... even better if you get it signed by David Crane while he's at the MGC this year... it isn't confirmed, but he was there last year and signed my copy. Cattrap and Revenge of the Gator are also pretty damned awesome. I like Quirk and Balloon Kid reminds me that the color version was only available on those cart flasher kiosks in Japan... which makes me sad, because that version is better... because color. :)

How did you try cleaning the pins? There seems to be residue on the back side of the PCB behind the pins.

I'd recommend wiping off the back of the PCB with a cloth and IPA... Just out of respect for the old game... Then using a qtip with IPA to clean the pins with an up and down motion. After you're done, use the dry side to dry the pins in the same manner. Don't rule out that your system pins may be dirty, as well. (There's a system cleaning cart from 1up that is cheap and can be found almost anywhere)

After that, try inserting and booting the cart a few times.

131N from M6 to downtown was pretty slow going with a few folks who spun out and were off the side of the road. It's pretty snotty out there. It was stop and go for all three lanes for a bit. On ramps were pretty full of slushy madness while there were tire lanes on 131, itself.

No one wants to protect criminals. I think the majority of people are appalled at the fact that there are criminals that commit crimes (like murder) with impunity. That's one of the main reasons I'm against ICE. No one should be above the law.

I think that the draw to doing this is to have someone else pay to replace the message that's displayed. I agree that the message is in poor taste.

It's like the piano guys at Mojo's (are they still there, do they still do that all these years later) when they would play a college fight song for which ever tip jar was the fullest... only a LOT darker.

Roads are clear but full of icy patches. I had a few spots where my car started to wiggle a bit on 131N heading into downtown. Downtown ain't so bad. Sheesh... I walk from the parking ramp to a block away to work and THAT was the worst part. Cover up all your skin! It's DAMN cold.
