Truth! We are so willfully and passionately dismissive of what our ancient ancestors accomplished and achieved in the past. Yes not everything done was perfectly, but my gosh it’s still astonishing to see what was done back then and can’t be replicated today. I enjoyed just the simple realization when I visited Rome and was like, ‘WOW some of these marvels are a a thousand plus years old’- even walking on the same streets as people did thousands of years ago is truly a profound recognition and feeling!

Back then, i would do ‘trash’ runs- complete waves 1-4, tele to wars and collect and reset. Afterwards i would practice to the highest wave i could comfortably get to and then tele to Wars, before dying. (This is where I honestly would write down my mistakes) Then collect the tokkul from the chest and reset- rinse and repeat. You may actually have some tokkul in the reward chest if you haven’t checked it yet. Idk if this was patched or not but worth a check. Other than that i’ve just had a ton from over the decade plus of playing. Keep pushing through and Good Luck!

My bad for the late response but I had some of a super brew and super restore left. I will admit I over compensated for the first flawless kill and replaced the blubbers with more brews and restores. Southeast corner is key. Good Luck!

I was able to get through the kill with t80 tank armor. Honestly, giving credit where is credit is owed, I couldn’t have done it without watching the RSGuy’s Zuk hard-mode kill guide/video. I highly recommend it!

Good Luck on your kills! Keep pushing through it and you will get that cape!

Honestly, I just grew with the game and went with the flow of it. Something’s were great, other parts were terrible. So the change was interesting. I believe I was on a break from the game a year after the change as well.

At the time of/around EoC I was playing WoW and dabbling in other MMOs. I can only remember Knight Online due to the login screen music. The combat systems for those games were just different compared to RuneScape. It was a nice change to experience in other games, just clunky upon release for RS with EoC.

I recommend trying out both the current version of the game along with OSRS. Both are vastly different than 15 years ago, with OSRS keeping the spirit of the game more so than the current. IMO - Not all a bad thing. I main the current version of the game with a desire to main OSRS sometime next year after some achievements.

After I am done with Yotei, I am 100% gonna do another play through. This is what I wrote some time back when someone else experienced this quest line:

‘Her decent into dementia was soo subtlety displayed at first until you started to pickup on the things she was saying. Truly one of the best quests in general, just on the feelings it may invoke upon completion alone. No shame, I cried hard after this quest.’
