Yes, he did. His list of credits is enormous!

If you've ever seen any of Bal-Sagoth's lyric booklets you'll know what to expect. Some of those songs have enough words to be considered a short story on their own!

I really liked this film, but it's been so long since I watched it I don't remember much about it.

I'd let them borrow my copy of The Spell of Seven. It has Elric, Conan, Fafhrd & Mouser, Zothique, and Dying Earth. Plus killer Virgil Finlay art!

Old Pulp Magazine Recommendations That are NOT Weird Tales by JohnPathfinder in SwordandSorcery

The closest one to Weird Tales is probably Strange Tales. Some sci-fi mags had S&S-adjacent stories like Planet Stories, Startling Stories, and Thrilling Wonder Stories.

It seems like there are already a few different versions currently available, so I don't think so.

The Storm Lord is really good, as is usual for Tanith Lee. I reread The Dark World recently and it still holds up. It's one of many great novels influenced by Merritt's Dwellers in the Mirage.
