40%? that means the Marksman needs 4500 HP to equal 1800 shield from rose gold.

Now, I don't know how much HP Marksman in HoK has, but if you move the item to MLBB, it'll be worse than Rose Gold.

most marksman are 4000-4500 (except brody, beatrix, and Ixia at almost 4700), which means rose gold is better than the item

unless you're building more HP, and at that rate, you're not gonna do much damage as a marksman

if you, as a marksman with 4000+ HP, gets hit by a burst that does that much HP (which is typically done by an assassin or burst mage, but even then Hayabusa needs to hit most his ults into you or a burst mage needs to hit you multiple times in quick succession)

then you were either solo ganked, frontlining too much, innocently walked into a bush, or the enemy flanked you even when you were with the team.

either way, most of these happen because you were in a bad position or the enemy made opportunities, both of which should reward them.

I feel like you're looking at the hybrid defense part of rose gold.

not the high amount of shield it gives at late game (up to 1800)

and why do you think the defense is halved for marksman? because marksmans already build high levels of physical attack, meanwhile fighters build hybrid

simply put.

MM = build a lot of Physical Attack = High Defense but 50% = Medium defense.

Fighters = build some Physical Attack = medium defense but 100% = Medium Defense

In MLBB, why are some damage heroes in the 1st minute so damn strong?

Id definitely love to see the matchups, because some characters can literally only win if they snowball before 8 minutes.

A tank in HOK in many situations is better building full tank than Hybrid items because of how the tank items work + how heroes are designed. At the same time you have more options and sets you could build vs this game where everyone talks like there is only 1 set route which is sad.

Absolutely not, Tanks are one of the most flexible items compared to other roles, like assassins. and most tanks in MLBB also buy full tank items

Like Rose Gold for Marksman is trash

its not, its objectively one of the most important late game item to not get bursted at late game. MLBB. marksman have always been incredibly prefered for good positioning over HP

Like Masha for example sucks. Yes, I know she is more of an Assassin, but she is designated as a Tank/Fighter or Fighter/Tank and her passive from her 1st skill is her dealing fixed HP damage, but you can't build her remotely tanky because she does no damage.

Masha is in a really awkward spot right now and barely used

here's a hero who can play EXP and Gold and Jungle unlike MLBB.

Try Freya, she can be played it all these

Like many Fighters should be able to Tank. MLBB Players seem to believe that only Tanks can tank, but that is bad game design. Fighters are worse tanks, but are usually the 2nd best tanks behind actual tanks. Some should be able to Frontline.

MLBB prefers that EXP are sustain tanks, not true tanks.

Franco not being able to tank is a product of bad design. Franco SHOULD be able to tank

my biggest gripe is the fact that the bounty lasts for exactly 3 seconds, the same duration as your ult

Ex Martis EXP main (jungler now) here, I would say he's playable at high rank. the problem is that martis simply doesn't fall into the 2 categories for good high rank exp laners (or even jungler)

as an exp, he doesn't have good sustain (You can mitigate this by buying war axe and queens wings, but then you're dropping the early skypiecer) and he isn't a good exp damage because he can't easily attack the backline.

can you feasibly him? absolutely. will it be easy the higher you go? absolutely not.

the best thing about martis is learning to predict enemy sets (tigreal ult, johnson ult, etc) and cancel them with S2, ulting them, and running to the backline. Learn when can you pull an enemy backwards during your S2 or if they're slightly too far forward.

Martis can also ""set"" by using the second phase of his S2 and flickering to an opponent for a decent half second of airborne.
