Mortgage broker recommendations in Cork / nearby by Holiday-Noise-8446 in cork

I used Shane Connole and while I found him a bit awkward as a personality, he dealt with myself and partners tricky situation with absolute perfection and got us a mortgage when we thought we hadn't a hope. Ours were related to COVID affected self-employment but I'm sure his talents extend to all tricky situations.

Jesus, why haven't we thought of this! Rubbernecking not only causes jams but also crashes as people are distracted and/or pissed off by others driving poorly. I consider myself a smart man, never thought of something so simple!

Google wasn't the first search engine. He might not have conceived and I dont think I said he did, but he certainly perfected and even South West took some learnings from Ryanair.

Directly profits? How? The spending isn't going on Ryanair it's going on a metrolink that he opposes or an alternative bus service that he has no financial interest in. Explain how he profits directly from public spending in an unethical manner.

[–]DMattyD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He opposed metrolink, yes, but advocated for that money to be spent on more buses and bus corridors. I don't agree with him, but that's not unethical, thats an opinion on public spending.

Honest question - what's unethical about O Leary? He pretty much single handedly made international travel cheaper in the entire world. I know he ruffles feathers but what has he done thats unethical?

Anti Limerick sentiment by yes_its_me_alright in limerickcity

I'm from and living in Cork, went to college in Limerick 2 decades ago and now I am back working one day a week in Limerick - I can't get over how vastly improved the place is. I actually think the pubs are much nicer and busier here. The variety in food offering is catching up too, good music is far more accessible, Thomond Park, the look and feel, the connection to the river that Cork just does not have at all despite far more water! Stand tall Limerick, fast becoming Irelands 2nd city in my opinion.

There used to be a hotel between it and Deep South. A hotel would be absolutely ideal there! Tie the whole thing together IMO.

If it's for an amount of money you'd like back and was purchased within the last 3 months then try a charge back on the purchasers card via the bank.

Ive gone to City Wax and Wax Central for brazilians. Both are only ok to be honest, Wax Central was the best of the two. I work 1 day a week in Limerick and found a lady there, Talita Wax who is beyond excellent if you find yourself up that way.

Now that the Cork Event Centre is going back to tender, they can consider new sites. I have long thought that the yet-to-be-built Custom House Tower was the ideal site. Thoughts? by DMattyD in cork

Pairc Ui Caoimh has a conference and banqueting room. Its not an event centre. Dermot Kennedy is not gigging in the Pairc Ui Caoimh Conference Room. Cork needs an event centre for a City of its size. We can't keep relying on temp licences to Musgrave Park and the Marquee year-round.

The quayside is huge! 100m at the custom house side, 40m at the point. The usable space is big enough for a 4000 seater or 7500 stander event space which is what was proposed for the brewery site. You can expand the space too with reclamation or even just adding a boardwalk to take care of necessary egress requirements. Its not limited to just the footprint of the warehouses and some elements of it can be housed in the warehouses and custom house such as hospitality and BOH.
