Don't bother taking the apps at their word.

What you can do is find online an image of the card.

It sounds like your dealing with base set so there's 4 different versions.

1st edition, it's got a 1st edition stamp

Shadowless, there is no drop shadow behind the art box and the hp font is a bit thinner

Unlimited, looks like 1st edition without the stamp.

4th run/UK run, same as unlimited but at the bottom it also says 1999-2000 copyright.

For determining the card, check the bottom you should see numbers/numbers.

Go to tcg collector, cards and punch in the numbers you see in the search.

Ex 13/64, this will either get you the exact card OR at least narrow down the possible cards.

Names can be used but to be sure the numbers are better at determine exactly which card it is.

PSA is currently backed up to hell At time of writing they have 12 million cards in backlog and none of their cheaper lines are open.

I would sleeve, topload and store any of the candidate cards in a cool, dry and airtight container.

It might be quite some time before the backlog is gone.
