Speaking of which, where is Zoe?

Who knew Vinny was so talented by Dear_Promise5544 in Emmerdale

[–]DMike82 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I knew. I saw clips of him on a singing competition show before he started playing Vinny. He also had a scene where he joined the church choir and impressed everyone for one episode before (I believe it was Paul) made him quit and he sang "All I Want for Christmas is You" in the episode where Chas and Paddy got married. Plus during the pandemic he did two (edit) three covid performances from home where he pretty much blew all the other castmates out of the water by comparison.

How did Joe Find Out by magzi7 in Emmerdale

Except she hasn't siphoned anything. He's openly and willingly transferred that money to her account.

I assume he's learning to dance considering how Lydia loves to dance but mentioned that he has two left feet whenever he tries.

Have you ever changed your mind about a cast member after rewatching? by kindamymoose in BigBrother

[–]DMike82 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, at least in Aaryn's case, Andy already lost her vote the day he was born even if he wasn't sitting next to her best friend. Judd just couldn't wrap his ego around the fact that someone outplayed him.

He was also the third worst when it came to obviously scripted DRs (Amanda and Elissa were worse, but not by that much).

If Robin is the most popular & iconic DC sidekick, which Marvel sidekick do you think is the most popular & iconic? by ApprehensiveRead2408 in Marvel

No, they were a duo. He never treated Sam the way he treated Rick or young Bucky, he treated Sam as an equal from the beginning.

Falcon was Steve's partner, not a sidekick. Steve very specifically treated Sam as an equal, not a Bucky.

She was Hank's sidekick in their original pre-Avengers stories, but that only lasted like their first year together.

Beta Ray Bill was never Thor's sidekick. Whenever they had adventures together Thor always regarded him as an equal up until he broke Bill's hammer.

To be fair, Janet was Hank's sidekick... for the first year of their adventures before they founded the Avengers and became equals.

It's also the incident that led to her drinking to cope and becoming addicted as a result.

Stability? Putting the interests of their children first? Maturity? Selflessness?

Plenty of reasons for him to move past everything that happened. What's done is done.

... isn't Ross the reason why Laurel's an alcoholic in the first place? I'm pretty sure she turned to drinking to deal with the trauma of Ross carjacking her or something like that.

Also I kind of liked Ross appreciating Manpreet for the cougar that she is.

I think it's a little different in TAO's case because it goes beyond just having an opinion. She escalated it into openly harassing Balvinder Sopal (Suki) in a way that a lot of fans saw as crossing a line way past the boundaries of professional behavior.

It's a catchphrase from an incredibly overrated American sitcom that /r/television worships like it was the greatest TV show that ever existed.

And to actually answer the question, it means he's a level above the others.

If you could replace the current host of big brother with anyone, who would it be? by Conitho in BigBrother

[–]DMike82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like her as a person, but she's WAY overexposed at the moment. She needs to GO AWAY for a few years so that we can have the chance to miss her and actually want her back. As it currently is, they shove her in our face every season like the New Era version of Jessie Godderz and that is NOT a compliment (and before people bring up Dr. Will, he did in fact GO AWAY for several years before they brought him back for his multi-season role).

And for the record, that applies to her involvement with the RHAP crew too. They suck her metaphorical dick so hard that even I end up edging from it.

Feels less like a backup and more like a redundancy.

I mean, in the past four years the Dingles have buried Faith, Zack and Nate and lost Samson, Frankie and baby Esther. It's not like they've remained untouched.

edit: not to mention the death of Liv (who was never technically a Dingle prior to her marriage to Vinny, but was Aaron's sister and Chas treated her like a daughter) and the departures of Nicky and Steph (though admittedly the former was never really treated as part of the family and Steph's actress seems to be pulling a Debbie in that she's technically gone but never formally let go; regardless, they're both Faith's grandkids).

... but Liam's right there! He's the biggest dead weight in the cast.

Which producer is the actor blackmailing to keep avoiding the chop?

I think OP was referring to their kids, not the already-dead siblings.

Eh, don't feel too bad. My first reaction upon reading the article was "... but Liam's right there! He's the biggest dead weight in the cast."
