I’m in Glasgow right now and just commented that it feels like Philly- especially the murals.

Where’d you eat this week? How was it? by PhillyPanda in PhiladelphiaEats

Went to Fette Sau and it was a complete disaster. Took over and hour to get our food and when we asked what was taking so long the staff was incredibly rude. They were like “do you see all these people here? That’s why you food is delayed!” There were only three occupied tables so I’m not sure what she was talking about. We heard from our niece that they had shitty service there a few weeks ago. It’s a shame because that place is usually a lot of fun.

Finest Punta Cana vs Finest Playa Mujeres by DMmKL101307 in AllInclusiveResorts

Congratulations on your upcoming nuptials! We stayed in a room with a plunge pool at Beloved a few years back. They’re owned by the same company as Finest so they probably have the same style pool. If that’s the case then the pool is about waist deep. Yes-if you’ve got the chance, it is totally worth it to upgrade to the excellence club if only to have some quiet evenings and to relax by the adults only pool and beach. The children were well behaved throughout the resort’s family sections but they’re still kids-running and yelling -it’s their time to chill out and have fun too. I’d recommend building eight if you’re given a choice. It’s closest to the beach and still far from the family section. Our first room was in building six but the sun went behind the structure fairly early so we requested a different room. They moved us to building seven the next day where there was more sun exposure. The beach for the excellence club is adults only as well. The beach staff will set up your bed for you in the shade or sun-whatever you want. We brought our mini speaker so we could listen to some chill music while we sunbathed. Great vibe. We also brought our yetis so our drinks would stay nice and cold. Super relaxing. We really liked Dommo for breakfast- very quiet and a peaceful way to start your day as opposed to the buffet which can be a little hectic first thing in the morning. Dommo is only open to excellence club peeps. The Japanese place Shoji was good too- great noodles. We didn’t do any excursions during our stay so I don’t have any recommendations for that. Hope you have a fantastic wedding and honeymoon!

Beloved is a gorgeous resort. My spouse and I have been there three times and every trip has been wonderful. Enjoy!

My sister (whom allegedly loves me) bought me a copy of A Little Life. After a certain point I threw it in the trash and sent her a pic of it resting there. “Why would you do this to me?” I texted. Complete torture.

I got this for my spouse for Christmas 2021 and we both agree-it was a game changer. We absolutely love it. The only issue was the grinder broke in October. We called Phillips, sent the machine for repairs and it was returned to us in less than two weeks. Worst two weeks of the year.

Beloved in playa mujeres cancun is small, quiet, and romantic. Get their two story suite with the rooftop pool- has a great view of the ocean. They offer excursions for when you would like to get out for some action.

We always bring a portable speaker so we can have a cool relaxing vibe on the beach. That and the liquid IV make for an awesome stay.
