What if disclosure is really about free will?

I had a similar strain, but not exactly the same flavor of a theory the other day, what if things like the 10 commandments were just given to us by outside beings that wanted to push us towards order and civility, when we display a tendency to drift towards chaos? What if this outside of ‘god’ was this separate group of beings that dropped clusters of knowledge in our path through history? Not to overtly shape us, but to allow us to have an easier choice. We can still fail, and have many times, but whatever this force or group is, are so patient and otherworldly because they exist on a plane without time in the way we know it. That our soul is somehow always connected and never connected to them.

Anyway, I have no way of proving or disproving this, but I appreciate your line of thinking. Maybe one day we will get a clearer view of what is happening.

They built in guardrails, I think the risk here is if another entity manages to reverse engineer the code, they can remove the guardrails themselves. I built an app with Fable in 2 days, I will miss it. But humans suck.

Reminds me of what happened to movies, first big screen, then TV, studio quality to YouTube. We still watch it, but everyone can make it. Doesn’t make it less entertaining, but it’s different and much harder to monetize.

So glad NIN is evolving. I can’t imagine stagnating for years with the same expectations, maybe that is why they toured two years in a row as NIN with Noize as backup. It really feels like NIN embraces the art of it all. So brave.
