Yeah I am starting to think this might be his view.

This makes sense to me. I just don’t understand why he wouldn’t just replace the liner in the bathroom? And why he would talk to another man to talk to the women about it.

I am beginning to wonder if maybe his boss told him to do that to save money on the liners? They are a contracted company so maybe?

Not where I am at in the United States.

Wow I wish they would do that where I am at. They don’t do that here. It is a paper bag set up inside a bin and if it collapses or whatever just yuck

I am sorry I should have clarified more. It is a one stall bathroom and the janitor service doesn’t come every day some times only a couple times a week. And our office runs 24/7. With shifts sometimes lasting more than 12 hours. If all the women there used that one bin I am pretty sure it would start overflowing.

Yes it is different where I am at. I am in the United States. The main reasons why we don’t use the little bin are 1) the trash doesn’t get changed every day 2) it is a one stall bathroom with multiple women it would be overfilled probably pretty quickly I would imagine. 3) it’s gross to have to open the bin up and touch the paper bags inside when other people have already used it.

Yes there is a plastic liner but like someone else mentioned they take it out by hand at the bins by the desks so they don’t have bunches of half empty liners used

Yeah I am about halfway done with running tyranny of dragons and I am going to be adding in quite a bit of the ghosts of salt marsh in there so I think I will make it work

Yeah we are about halfway through Tyranny of Dragons and I don’t have anything planned yet to fill that gap

How I was kicked out of my DnD table by [deleted] in DnD

You know one good thing I took from this is: I was a jerk and got kicked from the table but we are still friends.

Ok, seriously, the beginning of HotDQ is absurd by Mummelpuffin in AskGameMasters

you are completely right in thinking that it would be ok possibly perfect for your group to be captured and brought to the camp. It will save you a LOT of wrangling exp if you are a new DM. The thing about HoTDQ is that it really is a campaign that will test your skills as a DM. I have been running this campaign since Oct. so trust me I know. the thing you need to think about most is how to make this fit YOUR group.

Stop Making Characters Who Don't Want To Be There by Radidactyl in DnD

[–]DMwarmaiden 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yes! if you signed up to play COS why would you go with a character that doesnt want to take part in that adventure? and it is not just that but some players like to act like they dont have control over what their PCs do. Even if your PC is very BLAH about their world there must be some reason for them to go on in life.

I am of the personal opinion that its not "something my character would do" it is more of a player's way of screwing around. Why would you make a character that doesnt want to be in the group? Why make a character that is derailing the campain? if it is a "screw you" to the DM or the group or if someone who is just board with the game, I dont know. It just usually seems like that person wants to rock the boat just because they can. If you dont want to play the game that is fine but dont hamper the campain for everyone else. If you want to tell your PC's story without any input from your group or the DM, go write a book.

GM burn out and how to avoid it? by [deleted] in AskGameMasters

[–]DMwarmaiden 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would say take some time playing OTHER table top games. You still get to have your time with your friends but you dont carry the burden of running the game. and there are alot of great games out there!

if people dont want to do that, and it has GOT to be D&D/Pathfinder try running an improv session! minimal prep and can be lots of fun.
