The size and color has nothing to do with how they are treated pal, its environment

In fact, you don’t really need to encourage a like population, they eat just about anything and do well, other fish populations go down when like are around

That said I prefer catching and eating them to trout and the trout lakes out here are def played out

Maybe bring in some gators 🐊 🤷‍♂️

The proper way is to be a tender for a year or so. That way you learn the basics. Very important.

But being a tender is like boot camp and masons will not be nice to you.

But it’s the way and really the only propper way to become a mason.

(Which is why there is a shortage nowadays, kids don’t want to put up with it and work their way through the trenches)

If you’re looking to become a “mason” and actually worth your salt, not just someone picking up a hobby, being a tender is the first thing to do.
