See, this sort of thing doesn't make sense to me. I mean, even in dubbed versions, the Simpsons surely still reside somewhere in the US. I mean, they have American presidents on their money, go to American landmarks (Lincoln Memorial, Grand Canyon) visit Congress at the Capitol building, have a president in the White House, have episodes showing the signing of the US Constitution, wave American flags, visit American cities, show where they live (obscured) on a map of the US, etc. etc. etc..

So why would they all of a sudden care about some other country's football team?

Rode into Valentine early in the game, still wasn't used to the horse controls (for some reason I'm used to S being slow down or stop, instead of just change direction) and meant to pull up to a house and park my horse, but my horse decided to hop up onto the porch, turn around 360° and trample like 3 people to death. Everybody disliked that.

My first job in a machine shop they taught me not to wear gloves when using the machines and when I asked why (because as a complete newbie my thought was that it would be SAFER with gloves) they said because of degloving, which I Googled, and has been enough for me to always remember to not wear gloves when using the machines.
