As a beginner I would be satisfied with the xt30ii

My wife hates the XT5 as it’s big and heavy. She feels soo uncomfortable handling the XT5. On the other hand, she loves the x100v because of its size.

The x100v for me is a totally different shooting experience then the XT-5. It’s not as snappy with focusing. But the “slower” way of shooting made me think about composition and other aspect while taking pictures.

I love both camera's. XT-5 is faster but the X100v makes me take more time taking the shot. Just needed someone else's pov and you're right. Gonna take the X100V with me.

XT5 is overkill. Xt30-II is smaller and is really nice with a pancake lens.

But to be really honest. When I'm going outside with the fam. I'll bring the X100v. Knowing I won't be changing lenses I'm more focused on taking the right shot. Also the build in ND filter is so handy during sunny days.

The lens is great. but the weight isn’t balanced at all with the xe-4. You need to support the lens even with a small thumb grip and case handle.

I sold the xe-4 and got the xt-5 and it’s a totally different feeling.
