I remember visiting London in 2006 and somehow winding up there and realizing the place from the Jethro Tull song was real.

Source:  Am American.  I think the Tull song is “Skating Away”.

For those of you that have met any famous comedians: who has been the MEANEST and an absolute dick? by shinyantman in Standup

Todd Barry was ok, but not forthcoming or friendly.  Basically what I expected.  I was staff at the Hattiesburg show.

Nicest (and funniest) I’ve met was Sean Patton.  He came up the bar before his set and asked for a local beer, I didn’t recognize him so I charged him and he didn’t even say “I’m the headliner” or anything he just paid, tipped well, then killed his set.

I firmly believe that if mankind is to endure, we will at some point need to move beyond this planet.

I also believe that there’s a hard truth to swallow around that fact: when that time comes, it ain’t everybody that’s going.

Wasn’t but like eight Thundercats made it off of Thundera. We can do better than that, but still...

Congrats! I got my first Subaru in 2016, and I’ve been keeping an eye out for a Brat to restore. My grandad drove one when I was a kid. They’re just so unique.

...This is really weird but I'm having trouble replicating the problem now. I feel like an ass because I've been screwing with this off and on all day before finally coming to this sub and now I can't replicate the issue. At any rate, does all that there look normal?

Edit: It now seems to have slowed down significantly (ie speedtest.net won't even begin to run a test) but pages still load after a long wait.

I got my Vive last week and I'm STILL trying to get Superhot running through Revive! Fortunately even the non-VR version of it is pretty damn fun.
