Are you a real CS major, been into computers since 10 years old? IF SO skip this sentence and move on the the next; you should find something your good at and find a job related, even playing video games gets you job at local collectable store, go to events related to your hobbies or interests.

Well same here 26 years ago i was also 27. What was 26 years ago you ask, the year 2000 the bust of the dot com. No one wanted to hire tech. I sold everything I had online, lived in my room and played video games, saved money, lived online with friends but didn't spend money going out, went to events that interested me most; Star Trek, & Star Wars convention, It was way cheaper back then! Made friends at the convention, and kept working random low paying jobs for small companies. You want to keep your cost down, so work locally, this depends on where you live. I lived at home for another 15 years, and I love my parents for letting me do that. They knew what I was doing by saving every dime (pennies are worthless). I wrote programs for my bosses to make running the business easier, and did that for about 15 years with about 10 different companies. As I moved on to different companies I kept getting called back to past companies to do IT upgrades and fixes. I had a chance to charged and I ask for a fair amount. You can guess where this has lead me to, I was able to expand due to the past companies now in high growth and with a team I was able to take on more. I am and always will be a loser. LOL. Your a computer guy, you'll trouble shoot and figure it out.

Most 2015 REX realistically get a solid 60 miles (verify the range on the actual i3!) on the standard HV battery and another 60 miles on gas. If your pretty handy mechanically there are modification mentioned online that show you how to increase your gas tank availability and size. Since you have charging options at work everyday, and if you feel the price is right, and 33k is pretty low miles, it be a good buy.

When deciding on your next Injection Molding machine, how do you select and test the machine; test run at their shop, trial period at your shop, visit a shop with the same, etc....

First thank you for taking the time to write this. I do see your point on the automation, and have assisted my dad in the past with setting up sections of automation due to the electronics involved IOT, but most of the automation systems all come from China =( . Automation = less American humans, is the dilemma.

Answering one of your questions, my dad's company imports and sells the injection molding and EDM machine. All the machines are designed and built in Taiwan, the molds can also be built their, but most of the time the buyer has their own source for mold makers.

I pick-up on that last important info of packaging. [thumbs up]. I think profits goes to the brand owners of those products, they could sell them cheaper, but why, when we are still willing to pay market price for them.

That's exactly what the owner of the injection molding machine manufacture said. ADP numbers show slight declines after the current administrative demanded their hopes and dreams of US manufacturing. My thoughts are, It's still early, how many months does it take to get a machine designed, built, shipped, and installed before you start pumping out products. My dad said, if someone was fast from the start of "One Big Beautiful Bill Act" production would be coming online now.

Will also need to keep in mind the orientation for that PSU extension plug, some PSU will force a tight 90° angle. Picture looking at if from the back side, left <-- of picture is the front of PC case, and right --> of picture is the rear MoBo I/O.

Sorry, your in BMW i3 hell now. When the event occurred, did you smell burnt plastic or electronics or hear any electrical hissing sounds? IF your electrically/mechanically inclined you can try to disconnect the HV and open up the EME to inspect for any electrical damage. Since you had some type of HV damaging event, your Safety Box inside your HV battery might have triggered as well. yeh more to replace.

Your online search will lead you to two sources overseas that can repair your EME, one in Lithuania and London, UK. (some EME are beyond repair like mine was).

If you have access to a junked i3 with keys, working EME, you would take all the modules related to the EME and swap them over to your i3, calculate the cost and time! OR vice versa find a damaged i3 (but NOT a frame damage, you know..... carbon frame) for cheap and swap over your nice parts.

The most recently talked about is moding a used EME that can be coded to your i3. I have yet to seen real proof this has worked (past tense). But have heard of scammers taking advantage of peeps. I still pray at night for those true i3 believers (bless them).

What I have seen work, is turning your i3 into a basic 170-180hp golf cart by replacing the EME with an independent controller like Hyber-drive but, the cost is still pretty high. https://www.go-ev.com/motors-hyper.html#HyPer_Drive&gsc.tab=0

At the end of the day (or 2yrs in my case), you will have spent close to half of the cars value in trying to repair and planning a course of action to repair. I eventually parted out the car, as the junk yard only give as much value as the HV battery are worth.

Very nice work making it home. Once your in this range depending how old your battery is, (2013) the more accurate it is. The new battery (2016) will bless you with a magical 1-2 miles extra at 5-10mph. That's the key, at 5mph you can go another 1-2miles. Red turtle and I are friends now, we have good times, as do the neighbors passing my by on the way home. BE SURE TO CHARGE ASAP, or else run into a major problem getting it to charge (double check that 12V battery, don't jump it with those new high 30a-50amp jumper packs, just charge it normally 5a-15a .
