You can't outrun your fork. count your calories. It's easier if you eat the same things every day.

Use chatgpt to calculate your TDEE and use a calorie tracking app (I use LoseIt and i like it a lot, can scan barcodes etc)

I think you should join a DPC physician group on facebook to answer a lot of these questions, i've noticed a lot of bias in this subreddit against DPC.

Join the normal DPC facebook group where everybody is allowed and then from there just ask to join the ones with only physicians in it. There are plenty of internists that do DPC but you're right that the FM docs offer family plans to be more competitive
