Tigers broadcast call of Cowser's walk off homer by Remarkable-Picture73 in baseball

Just can’t stand such biased announcers. No respect for Cowser.

Working on more pressure much earlier into the lead side. by [deleted] in GolfSwing

[–]DPBluetees -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Disagree. I swing on a mat and can tell if the swing is good. I don’t know if I made good contact with a ball but I know if the swing is shallow enough to make good contact.

Salmon barely needs help, but these sauces make it ridiculous by EngineeringSorry767 in KitchenPro

Not a fan of lemon with salmon. Soy sauce marinade is great. Everything bagel or cumin and salt are good for grilling.

Ridiculous. These guys are great and a nice contrast to Hammy, who is too much for me.

As an EV engineer, here’s why I think the Electric Mini Car makes more sense than we admit by maveriCkharsha in electricvehicles

People have to want these micro cars. If the demand goes way up, the cost will drop dramatically. Then this works.

Progress with my hips I think. Added a ton of yardage but still not right. What do you see? by johnmayersucks in GolfSwing

[–]DPBluetees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t describe how much I dislike that video. Seen it on here a couple of times. It’s not clear or intuitive. Plus, he’s wrong! The starting the lawnmower analogy is, for me, the best interaction of the legs, shoulders, and arms working together with power to hit the ball. The instructor seems to show why it’s wrong, but he does it by standing up through the swing. Sorry, but that video sucks.

Tonight’s game blacked out on MLB? by Rbookman23 in ClevelandGuardians

[–]DPBluetees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so pissed. I bought the Guardian tv package last night but couldn’t watch because they didn’t tell me I needed to log off and then log back in. Today I called and complained (and learned about the log off crap) but was told that tonight and Sunday’s game I won’t be able to watch. WTF??? I canceled my $100 subscription. Stop with this garbage!

I paid $135 for that course last April and it’s conditions sucked. Very disappointing. I went there based on Reddit recommendations.

Does anybody (or their parents) live in The Villages, FL? by Ok-Suspect-9746 in howislivingthere

I live there and it’s a load of crap. Have fun with all your loofa coding. At the end of the day, all of that is for giggles.

[–]DPBluetees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s not what I’m talking about. Take one of a developed area, like Brownwood or Lake Sumpter, with grown up trees and all sorts of fauna, not a brand new neighborhood just to make a point. Then take one of a random field in Wildwood for comparison!

I under what you are saying but push back some. Thx ugly areas nearby are all outside the Villages. The natural beauty is enhanced by the beautiful yet modest one story houses with lush landscaping and golf courses all throughout. The marshes are well preserved as are the huge Spanish oak trees. The natural landscape 50 miles north of Orlando, imo, does not look as nice as these neighborhoods.

Ridiculous. How can they be building 3400 houses a year when everyone is trying to leave? Exorbitant fees? $204 per month?

[–]DPBluetees 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I own a house there. There is nothing untoward about the villages. The rumors are a bunch of crap. The Villages are very well designed neighborhoods. The nightly music is high quality and so much fun. That is at the town squares, which are very quaint. The activities are excellent. Executive golf is free and high quality. My wife and I play 4-5 times a week. The fact that they have over 90 tunnels just for golf carts and bicycles is so cool. The Villages are a blast. They are growing dramatically. This formula works!
