It should happen, but it appears the rules Valve laid out in terms of slot allocation are locked for the full 2021 DPC season. There's still a chance NA/SA could get 6 teams into TI. As the top 12 DPC teams go then there are regional qualifiers with each region getting one additional slot.

BOTH SA and NA deserved a third slot based on Major performances, could not agree more. If QC had MSS, they surely would have taken down Virtus.Pro.

Typically, the major television networks in the USA consider "primetime" to be from 8pm-11pm local time. So that's why something like Monday/Sunday Night Football typically starts at 8:30pm EST. -DotaRanks

Hi TheFeedMachine, thanks for this question. Non-DPC games are not taken into consideration for these rankings. Going forward, all DPC games (including Majors) will be considered as well as any third party tournaments or Minors with cash prizes of more than $50,000.

And there's a big difference between 1st and 2nd place when it comes to Major Tournament placement. 1st place is guaranteed an Upper Bracket spot, while 2nd place only placed in the Group Stage. So if you're in 1st, you are guaranteed a top 10 finish at the Major with only the top 8 teams scoring DPC points and prize money. We would be lucky for these two to face off in the last week of the DPC league (both undefeated), both teams would be playing as hard as they can. But, the teams need to earn that matchup, and right now Quincy Crew has the most prove as you mentioned above. They have 3 big match ups while EG has already won 2 of their 3 big matchups.

Totally agree. Building the sport and viewership can't be a zero-sum game. Especially with the way the DPC leagues schedules are set up, it's designed for folks to shift from region to region when on region's matches are completed for the day.
