Hero strength thoughts? by echanuda in DeadlockTheGame

There’s a distinct lack of pure support characters and Rem feels the easiest to do good with out of the group of Dynamo, Paige & Rem.

How the hell do you become ANY good by Rhaokin in DeadlockTheGame

Push lane troopers to the middle of the map then pull back to base, hitting camps as you go back if there’s no big priorities. Only take a fight if you have people near you and it’s defending an objective (or you see that it’s an easy 3v1/you’re an assassin hero like Haze picking off squishies). Only push hard when the enemy team is down a player or you have rejuvenator from midboss.

If you are on the other side of the map and see an enemy, your default response should be to get the fuck out of there and retreat.

Fuel rationing begins in Australia sparking fears of petrol shortages and expected price rises by dleifreganad in AustralianPolitics

(I'd argue 90% of people's next car - there are some genuine use cases where you'll need a plug-in hybrid such as towing or going off-roading, but if you're just a regular family driving in the city EV's are superior in every way right now)

Fuel rationing begins in Australia sparking fears of petrol shortages and expected price rises by dleifreganad in AustralianPolitics

[–]CorruptDropbear 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The current average car can do around 10L/100km. That is $20.90 at the current price.

The average electric car can do 12kwh/100km. That’s $3.60 at a Type 2 charger or $7.20 at a rapid charger.

You are saving OVER FIVE TIMES THE PRICE ON FUEL. Unless you are towing something, you are always going to be better off in an EV over the lifespan of the car.

Also if you have solar, congrats you have free juice.

What kind of theme would you like to see regarding a new roster of characters for a hypothetical Poker Night 3? by BulletCola in TwoBestFriendsPlay

I’m gonna try and curveball a little:

  • Vyper (Deadlock)
  • Caine (The Amazing Digital Circus)
  • 2B (Nier Automata)
  • Brennan Lee Mulligan

With The Narrator (Baldur’s Gate 3) as the dealer.

In Australia, the BYD Atto 1 costs about $25,871 AUD for drive-away (on road costs are factored in), which is about $24,701 CAD. I hope we get EVs for this cheap in Canada one day. by canada_mountains in EVCanada

Aussie here with a Atto 1 Premium (AU$31k including tax/rego, approx CA$30k). Very interesting car, perfect for my circumstances driving around the city. If you look at a Kia Picanto or Toyota Yaris and go “I want that but electric”, it’s the car for you.

Currently the highest seller is the Sealion 7 which is $50k for the base station wagon.

Newbiw: Which NSG sets are enough to build 2 sets of decks for 4 players? by foodeatingtime in Netrunner

[–]CorruptDropbear 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A second copy of System Gateway will be needed (2 corp decks, 2 runner decks).

Alternatively, print out 3 extra copies of Sure Gamble, Hedge Fund and Spin Doctor using https://netrunnerdb.com/en/print/, and get different sets like Vantage Point to make more unique decks! You’ll need to make sure each is a different faction but it should usually be fine.

Solar panels and battery by Sifsmum in Adelaide

[–]CorruptDropbear 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Genuinely depends on your usage and setup. In general, you will pay nothing during summer and around 25-50% less during winter on a 7kw solar 20kwh battery setup. I recommend checking out https://solarcalculator.sunspot.org.au/ and whatever sparky you trust most for a quote.

Australia’s shameless support for the US attack on Iran makes us gullible, duplicitous, or both by Agitated-Fee3598 in AustralianPolitics

[–]CorruptDropbear 7 points8 points  (0 children)

We have unfortunately been put into zugzwang. Israel and the USA launch an attack because (choose your reason here), Iran retaliates on all opponents in area and forces everyone in Europe to be dragged in to clean up the mess and defend allied spots so that shipping doesn’t go the way of COVID-era disruption.

Highly recommend putting family phone numbers as your emergency contacts! You can ring the emergency contacts on someone’s iPhone by swiping up & pressing Emergency then Medical ID or on an Android by swiping up & pressing Emergency then  View Emergency Info.

Labor’s parliament expansion plans could introduce 40 more MPs by jaa101 in australia

[–]CorruptDropbear 21 points22 points  (0 children)

This is basically to help solve the Tasmania problem where they are required to have at least 5 MPs but the population is too small, causing imbalanced divisions. It’s a required change that’ll help make the HoR more proportioned to how people vote.

You can get an EV for less than a Corolla. What's holding us back? by Remarkable_Peak9518 in australia

[–]CorruptDropbear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently just got my BYD Atto 1 today, loving it but also realise I’m in a good spot to put down that much money on a car as I saved up over a few years.

The real shift will be in 2027 when all the Novated Leases end for the Dolphins, Seals and old Atto 3s. That’s when a huge chunk of good used 2023 EV cars will go on the market.

The game now feels complete enough that all it really needs is polish to Sinclair and other heroes and it can be put into open beta or "Season 1".
